this is not a "Rambo" knife
The Rambo character used knives made by the Arkansas knife smith, Jimmy Lile. They were bowie blades with hollow handles. This may be a nice knife, but I don't like to see a lie printed on the ad. not that I would suggest a hollow handled knife, but I don't like to be lied to.

Why does the box not match the knife?
The knife is pretty heavy and did not come sharp at all, it is so thick it would be hard to sharpen, but, as a collectible it is really pretty cool. My biggest complaint is the box it came in, I purchased this knife as a collectible and the box it came in was for another version of this knife. The box is for the gold signature version of this knife and a sticker was placed over the item number to give the box the item number for the knife inside, which is the regular signature version. It would not be such a big deal to me if I was not keeping the box and knife intact as collectibles. I am not so sure now that I received a real Rambo knife, it looks like an item that someone pieced together to sell. I can't think of any reason why the knife would not be in the original box that was made for this knife. If packaging is important to you as part of a collectible be cautious when buying this knife.

OK
The knife came extremely dull out of the box. The handle is too small for anyone with average to large hands. Part of the micarta insert sticks up above the handle causing an uneven edge, which in my opinion is a sign of poor workmanship and lack of quality control. The knife makes a nice conversation piece, and might make a nice addition to a collection, but unless you are going to give it some serious sharpening it won't be much use. Very cool looking, which is the main reason I bought it. Glad I didn't pay too much for it and wouldn't reccommend it except for a collection.
