Excellent for Gardening
I love these bricks to add to my flower garden before planting. Just unwrap and water and they expend, Perfect and so easy.

Excellent coco coir
Excellent coco coir for the price and large 5 kilo block. Texture was good, retained water. Excellent value.

great stuff!
as others have mentioned it took a lot of water, i used a little over a gallon for the 9L size. i found it pretty easy to break up as long as i kept pouring water over it. it filled up a 9L container to the top and my sprouts are happily rooting!

Bunch of good quality dirt 👍
The media could not be loaded. Arrived on time. Smelt like dirt. Looks like dirt. Packaged really nicely. 3 bricks and 3 bags. 🧱Have to use a surprising amount of water to expand it.💧 The full bag pictured, is one brick! Which it's tripled it's size. My 8yo son is holding it for size reference. It's fun to watch it absorb/fluff up and does so very easily. Feels and looks like good quality stuff. I would recommend. The bricks are great for easy storing and the bags make storing the expanded product even easier.July 3rd 2024 UPDATE:I have reported 2 large houseplants (Monstera Split leaf in a 11" basket & a Zig Zag Cactus in a 10" basket) and I still have a quarter of a bucket left of coco coir. -Please note, i did mix 4cups of perlite, 1 bag of miracle grow tropical houseplant soil, & 3 cups of peat moss in the 5 gallon bucket with 1 block of the coir. So if you are only using the coir I would say you could pot 2 large houseplants & maybe 1 medium sized one. Or 3-4 medium sized house plants. Either way this is an amazing value. 👍👍👍🪴 My plants are very happy ❤️

Works Well But Very Thirsty
It took me 2 gallons of distilled water to dissolve one brick. I used it as an ingredient in making my growing medium. I prepped it and fertilized it. Everything I put into my medium responded well to it. It has a fine texture and is very light. I probably should have soaked it in hot water and rinsed it because I have a feeling it has a lot of salt from the dehydration method used to solidify it. If I didn’t mix it with another medium I probably would.Update June 13, 2024I uploaded what I have grown and harvested indoors with this medium. Kale and lettuce

Coir
I use this in a soilless mix for my houseplants and am very happy with it. This coir and other amendments have made my plants quite happy, and have reduced the number of fungus gnats from soil based mixes a great deal. Most of my plants are aeroides and are used to the littered soil on first floors, so this helps them feel “at home”.
