We weigh 450 total and it held fine
Feels shakey, but my friend and I were on it and we weigh 450 total and it held fine. We used it on grass. Might be more suited for a firm deck.

This is the perfect base for my hammock
This is the perfect base for my hammock. I'll spend an infinite number of hours just relaxing in the backyard. This is the second unit I bought. The first was a birthday present for my daughter. Once her sister sees our hammocks and stands, she will want one and I'll buy another unit with the confidence of knowing the quality of the product.

but it's easy to put together
Now the description says 550lb weight limit but the paper in the box said 450lbs and I'm a little cranky about that, but it's easy to put together, rather easy to move by yourself, and sturdy.
