Splash Octopus Water Ball Pool Toy Set of 3

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was given one of these from a friend of mine. My daughter, niece, nephew, Mom w/ Alzheimer’s & friends’ kids are just obsessed with these cute octopodes. Adored by kids of all ages! At first, I bought just 1 3-pack and ended up buying 2 more 3-packs because they were such a hit. Essentially, there is a sponge inside of the soft, smooth rubber body which becomes saturated once submerging into water. The kids squeeze it to reveal a little fountain from their new toy. It quickly became my 3-year-old daughter’s new sidekick and companion. Not only does she take it in the bath, in our pool, to swim lessons but she also must have it when buckled into her car seat, grocery shopping, the park, going to grandma’s house and of course for nap time and bedtime. Every time we bring it to swim lessons, all of the little kids in the pool want to play with it. Thank goodness my daughter feels pride & joy when sharing, so all of the other little kids get to enjoy these too. All of the parents at swim ask me where I bought them. Kids AND parents alike are nuts about these.Even water aside, I recommend these toys. As mentioned above, my Mom has Alzheimer’s and she too is obsessed with these little guys. Babies LOVE them also. Whenever we’re at swim lessons, I’ll hand one of them to a parent holding an infant and the baby is in heaven. Of course, they go right into their mouth. The rubber and the sponge are so soft, it really is the perfect toy for a baby. The rubber exterior is so soft, it’s almost silky and satiny to the touch. With that being said, they’re durable. Very delicate but stands up to being pulled and yanked. Not a flimsy toy at all.You will feel the faintest amount of a somewhat chalky substance, like baby powder upon opening. No big deal at all! It's just the nature of rubber toys. Once you start to use these little guys in the pool, or any water source, you’ll notice they can become a bit adherent. The tentacles tend to gravitate to each other. I’m positive this is why the company uses some type of powder when packaging to prevent the tentacles from sticking together and they are able to swing freely.**You can see in my video, the tentacles are not clinging together.These are the perfect toy to have on hand at all times. I have a couple saved in the top of my closet so I can throw one in with a gift for any kid.Bottom Line: Reasonably priced. These are awesome! My 15 month old loves playing with them in our pool. Love the bright colors and the water that squirts out when you squeeze them makes him smile every time. Highly recommend.

Before these even made it into the pool, the head was already starting to separate from the body. I read the reviews before I bought but still wanted to give it a chance. They enjoyed it the short time it lasted.

Less than 24 hours and with no real rough play and the seam around the bottom that hold the tentacles on has pulled apart on two of the three.

The kids were so excited to play with them. They only got to use it for one tubby time before the legs ripped off.

As described. But if you have a destructive child like mine, they may RIP a whole and remove the ball inside that allows the water to suck in and squirt out. But we did get our money's worth in the whole 2 days before that. It arrived fast and in perfect condition.

These are fantastic! All of the kids at the pool approach my son to play with him when he has these octopus. They are great for sensory development and fun! They have held up well and just love them! Would definitely order replacements if something should happen to them!

My son is autistic and he LOVES these at bathtime. I have bought 4 of them so far.
