Unwrap them, install batteries, place in windows. No further attention needed until time to take them down. Nice! Love the natural look of flickering candles, from outside the house. Love the low profile of these so windowpanes perfectly frame each candle. Long battery life. A nice soft brightness level. Great product!

The candles are very pretty (ivory with a black base) and feel a little sturdier then some other holiday candles I've bought. The black base is oval so they'll fit on a narrower windowsill. The flame is yellow/orange and flickers quite realistically. We have them in our front windows for the holidays.While the dusk to dawn timer works well, I am only giving 4 stars as its actually more of a 3.30pm to 9am timer during the winter in Toronto. It has to get quite bright outside for the timer to turn the lights off and I hoped it would be more sensitive.

I love these window candles, they are sturdy and not to big to fit on a small window frame. I have tried several brands that are fragile and don’t last but I’ve had these several years and they continue to be substantial. They give off a amber flickering glow. My neighbors say the house looks so elegant and festive, and I agree. I put new batteries in each year and they last from 11/1 through January. Great product, would highly recommend!

I bought this as a non-flammable option for a tradition. Battery life depends on the battery brand that is installed. There are also issues with some lighting. On at dusk and off at dawn depends on weather. Gloomy days keep it going. I still like it. Note that they are like candles with little light, but could be a useful alternative in case of a power outage.

Candles exactly as described and just what I wanted. They’re in my front window. They light up when it gets dark and shut off when it’s daylight. I love them.
