However, value for money really isn't there. By what I could find on the company's web site, they sell in Korea convenience stores for the equivalent of $1.75 each. But I'm not in Korea, and wanted these as a gift, so... (shrug)They're okay, but won't be buying again.

It is Korean but other than the red pepper sauce, that's about it. It'll fill your stomach but your taste buds won't get excited. Whatever, it is military rations not hor d'oeuvres. I could probably put in garlic, sesame oil & seeds, ginger root and it would get a little closer. But then, it is military field rations.

These are delicious. And all you have to do is add boiling (preferably) or cold water and wait. They taste great. They travel well.

These don't taste very good. Tastes like sponge rice. I guess if you're starving these are ok. Better off with Ramen cheaper and tastes better

Had one of these for lunch to try it. Pretty good rice and ground meat crumbles. But some dried veggies in it would have been nice too. I keep Kim chi in my fridge as a condiment, so I put a spoonful of Kim chi in it and only about half the spice packet. It came out a strong medium heat. Made a good small hot lunch. I would only use about half the spice packet and then try it. You can always add more in later. I'll keep the other two in the pantry with other emergency foods. This is an interesting one to have a few of and is reasonably priced for what you get.

Pretty awesome little kit for a quick meal. I would bring these on backpacking trips any day. A little on the sweeter side than I was expecting but still very delicious.

Shipping was great, arrived earlier than expected all the way from S. Korea. However, this product itself is not really Bobimbob. Also, I received a week ago with expiration date approaching soon. Will try different brands.

These are tasty freeze dried rice meals. They hydrate quickly and weigh very little. Great for backpacking.
