Great little device
I like the product very much. It works well and the picture quality is great. My laptop is not quite powerful enough to use the screen cast mode with most video, but works perfectly well with the Veebeam player. My only suggestion is for them to work on their player. It is very basic. I'd suggesting integrating their driver with something like the VLC media player so they'd have a full featured player. Overall I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it. I also see the price has dropped since I purchased mine, making it an even better deal.

Does not work with Mac 10.7 Lion
I received this item on the exact weekend that VeeBeam's support website was down. I followed the directions perfectly but I was not able to make the connection between the device and my TV. In an effort to try every known solution I upgraded my Macbook software to the newest edition- 10.7. BIG mistake. Since the upgrade didn't help I tried the VeeBeam site again for help. Lo and behold I see a memo telling me that the VeeBeam does not work with the latest software upgrade that I had JUST completed. The VeeBeam is useless to me until such time as these issues are worked out. They suggest partitioning your hard drive but I'm not interested in that mess. Sadly, I have to return the devise.

Does not work with Windows XP as advertised
I bought this interesting gadget to try because i was planning on giving this as a gift for friends. I was very disappointed. It does not support Windows XP. Its guide says that it supports this system but the support line says it is still in the process of trying to release its Windows XP software. If you have Windows XP, do not buy this yet -- I think I will hold on to this until the company releases its XP software as promised (they also promised me a 30 day money back guarantee after its release). I will then be able to give you a more fair review.

DISAPPOINTING!!! (to say the least)
This product came in 2 days ago. I've spent 2 days trying to get it to work with my TV/computer.It took an hour chatting with a representative who finally figured that there was a problem with the firewall! So then it started connecting. But once it did, I found the picture VERY SLOW! The picture constantly freezes and is impossible to watch.I usually will just keep something in case I ever "need" it, but this is going back. It's such a hassle to return things mail ordered, but I think this will be worth returning and getting a refund.

Wireless range is a problem
The Veebeam is a great way to connect your TV and your PC. Unfortunately the Wireless range (3-6 ft.) is terrible. What is the point of watching your PC movies on TV if you have to drag your computer into the same room? I had to return it and get an Apple TV instead.

Three Stars
Too much delay for my purposes.

It works
As advertised, plug it into you computer download and install the software and it works. I found positioning the transmitter was critical. I attached the transmitter with a 3 foot USB extension cable and brought it above obstructions for a direct line of site to the reciever on the TV and it works fine.
