This is one of the better guides for raised bed gardening. The reasons for raised bed gardening, and the how to build raised bed gardens and maintain them are excellent. The occasional insertion of childhood stories is delightful. The defects come when the author discusses container gardening. James does not clearly state the possible toxic problems with using plastics and recycling old tires as gardening options. There also is little or no mention of seed starting and the overlapping repetition between books is annoying. This would have been better as one well edited book.

This is a good start for building a raised garden style vegetable beds. The bundle is arranged oddly in the download format. It would have been helpful to have more in-depth planning section.

As a gardener of many years, this book didn't provide much info. that I already knew.

I found this book very informative and got a many ideas from here. Easy to read - a great guide for people who are looking into raised bed gardening.

Very short and basic. I would recommend this book only if you have never garden before. It is not for someone who has put up raised beds before.

This is a good book but I do wish that it discussed more of once you build the raised garden beds, how to grow a garden.

Book has basic information. It was redundant throughout could have been condensed considerably. I don't know that I would recommend this book.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It explained all I needed to know to set up my own raised bed in simple, straightforward text.
