It is by far the least likely to slip. In fact in takes a major effort force to make it slide at all.All of these are about the same size (UberChef 1" longer, and 1/2" wider), but the UberChef is a tiny bit thicker and feels more cushiony for sure. Easier on the feet. This is perfect mat.It cost about $5 more but worth it for sure!Very few 6 star items of the hundreds our family purchased from Amazon, this is one of them. Extremely happy with this mat! Looks good too.

Love it! Just what I was looking for. I used it for kneeling while painting my base cabinets (left the plastic bag on) and for standing it is just heavenly! I only wish I would've bought a longer one, because when you are on the matt you do not want to step off. Especially if your back and hips were hurting as much as mine. Im sure it would help with knee joints and feet as well. Makes a huge difference! I only gave 4 stars for the durability because I don't know how it will hold up, just received it, but it seems well made.

On Oct. 2nd I got this mat to replace a very old one in my kitchen. When it got here I placed it in front of the sink and that night when I did the dishes I did them bare foot and my back didn't hurt like normal. Within a few days I just had to get another to put in front of the cook top.There is only 1 con that I ran into. I moved my mat in front of the cook top and some of the splatter from the steaks burned the mat. I don't think it would last long if I had left it there so I moved it to the prep area and I love it. If it hadn't burned I would have given it a 5 out of 5 stars.Worth the money at twice the price, just a great product.

We are really enjoying our pad. We are using it in the kitchen in front of the sink and also switch it to our prep area when doing our precooking work. It is nice and thick and takes the stress off the back. Sure beats standing on a tile floor. The company recommends removing your shoes, which allows your feet to sink into the pad. Also, it's light, so it's very easy to move from one spot to another.

This thing is THICK and SOFT, yet it offers sure traction. Love feeling it under my feet while I'm at the kitchen sink. Durable, too. Seems like it'll last a lifetime. Relatively easy to clean.

I use these as outside dog mats and they are great. I purchased another brand that weren't waterproof and that was a mistake. Those soaked up rain and stayed wet for days. But not these. Rain or shine I see my two dogs lying on them under the porch. Durable, easy to clean and more comfortable than concrete. I don't know how they work in a kitchen but they work great as dog pads.UPDATE: Well longevity seems to be a problem. After two years the outer waterproof is peeling off. I'll have to throw them away and either repurchase or look for another brand of mat. It's too bad because up to this point I was very happy with them.

Even though it may not have been the original design intent for the device. I use it for exercise. I was looking for something that I could lay on, and use a variety of massage/therapy balls. Without some sort of mat, the massage balls tend to scoot away. The mat allows them to sink in just enough to work well for me.

This is a good mat, not smelly, so far has held up over the past couple of months. But it does walk around the kitchen by itself (well, you know what I mean) and I wish it was bigger both length and width because that might keep it in one place. I have a couple of other rugs trying to maintain it's location but it still seems to want to take a tour of the neighboring hall and rooms. We have a "floor" rag that is used when we drip water on this mat because it will just sit there until it evaporates (that will be a while in the humidity) so rather than stepping in the drops, we just use our feet to swish the rag over the spots to keep it dry. I had other fabric material rugs for the kitchen which worked but over time they got too flat for comfort. Maybe I can slice down one side of those and insert this one inside to get that cushion back. Still there has to be a better one out there..
