this is a great gate belt, it is comfortable for the person being helped compared to others and the handles make it easy to hold and help them.

Works well when lifting on someone.

I have an elderly aunt (92) who is suddenly having issues walking and while not a big woman, 120lbs of dead weight can be difficult to control especially when you are trying to not hurt someone. My brother saw this on Amazon and while it looked a bit 'much" I ordered it and the thing works great. I hate that we have to put something like this on her but she's taken too many falls recently and this belt allows us to either control the fall or prevent it outright. The handles are robust and with there being so many, they are easy to grab quickly when needed. Getting old sucks. I hate to have to use something like this on my aunt but I guess you do what you have to as the alternative is that she might fall and get seriously injured.

Great belt except it needs a clasp or something to put on and take off a little easier. I wear this one while my LO I care for a different one. I need help to get mine on lol

This belt is sturdy and very well made. I use it to transfer my loved one from a wheelchair to a car seat and back again. He is much larger than me, has no strength in his legs, and does not follow directions well, and yet this does the trick. There is always a sturdy handle for me to grip and pull him to a standing position or slide him over as required.

The reason for the 3 stars is because I hasn’t used the gait belt at this time The buckle and the grips seems very secure

Nice device. Like other mobility belts, it needs to be put below the belly button area to keep from slipping up the body while providing assistance. I was able to truly help better with less effort. The patient outweighs me by 60 lbs. and has a tenancy to collapse mid way through the transfer. I was able to either keep the body in a safe position, or complete the transfer. Considering the purchase of another belt so the patient can grab a handle on me for better stability.

The belt seems well made and excellent price & durable. It’s not the right product for my mother. I’d fastened around her waist as tight as I could get it but when we attempted to use it to help lift her up out of lazyboy it just went up to her underarms and then was loose. I now realize I need a belt with straps through groin so that it can’t slide up.

Je n'avais pas porter attention lors de mon achat mais la ganse pour attacher la ceinture est zero pratique lorsque vous devez la mettre et l'enlever souvent et malheureusement si je veux un retour je dois assumer le shipping ce qui est vraiment désavantageux
