Perfect for allergy kids
Got this for my baby with food allergies. I put about 2 tablespoons into a bowl, add 2 teaspoons of hot water from my tea kettle, let it sit for a while. Then add a little all natural nut butter, coconut oil, pureed baby food, and/or a dash of cinnamon. She loves it. Great alternative to oatmeal and rice cereal for babies with allergies. I have also used a smashed ripened banana, all natural peanut butter, cinnamon, and a few spoons of these quinoa flakes to bake on a silicone baking mat at 325 degrees to make cookies for my baby. They turned out nice and moist/soft which is exactly the texture you need for 9 month olds just learning to feed themselves. Glad that these are organic since I give to my baby.

This stuff is pretty great.
Quinoa is not loaded with flavor, so don't look for more flavor here. But it is pretty close to instant for quinoa and they've done it in a way that seems to have preserved nutrition, yey! So you'll really get your money's worth with this. And as quick as its ready, you'll have time to be imaginative with toppings that will bump up the flavor for your quick meal. I like breakfast style with cream and berries, or add with spinach or collards and cheese. I like having a really great alternative to oatmeal at work for pick-me-ups. Have fun

I want to like this, but I don't.
I enjoy quinoa, and I thought I might like these flakes as an extra fast-cooking option to eat on backpacking trips. I want to like it. I really do. But all I could do with it was create flavorless mush. I'm thinking it might be the texture of regular quinoa that I reallly like, and obviously this lacks that. The product seems fresh, and the flakes are super fine. They'd probably disappear (in a good way) in baking, but they don't seem to have enough substance for eating as a warm breakfast - unless you're okay with a flavorless, textureless mush (between paste and gruel, depending on water). I'll end up using it in baking or giving it to the dog.

Great substitute for cream of wheat,
I love this stuff. It tastes very similar to cream of wheat to me:-)I do not want to eat wheat anymore but I miss my cream of wheat cereal, so this is a great subtitle for me.The flakes are much better than regular quinoa when eaten as a breakfast cereal, in my opinion.

Love these Flakes!
Love these Quinoa flakes. Would definitely recommend to others. Very filling when prepared with white mulberries, golden berries and goji berries. I also add Qi'a Chia, Buckwheat & Hemp cereal on top.(also available on Amazon) then season with cinnamon and turmeric. Yumm!On a side note: it also helps with weight loss!

Used the Quinoa Flakes and love them!
I have used it as a base in vegan carrot fritters and it was super! It sort of hid in the fritter but helped the Chia seed in the binding process -- as opposed to when you use whole cooked Quinoa or i have used the dried Quinoa ground up also - but really like the flakes better.I also made muesli with barley flakes as the base and the next ingredient waws the Q flakes and I really like that in that too! it is a great way to get more protein into both of those vegan meals! (Dinner and breakfast@! ;-) ) I will be buying this again!
