Google Pixel XL Battery Case,BEAOK 5000mAh Portable Charger Case Cover Battery Back up Power Case for Pixel XL

Got the battery case this week and did some tests, here my review:The Good:Fit: good - looks just like the pictures. It fits the Pixel XL perfectly, I had no problems putting it on. As a matter of fact, this is one of the easier packs to put onto a phone I have had up until now.Make/Material: it is a mat, black plastic. Does not attract allot of smudges or finger prints. Feels good in the hand, not slippery or anything.The Not so good:I did three battery/charge tests:1) charge the pack without the phone in it all the way2) Run the phone down to 20% battery and then put the pack on3) Recharge, take pack off after phone hits 100%4) Run the phone down to 20% again, recharge with the remainder of the charge in the pack to see how much more you get out of itI did this three times in a row and the results were the same every time: When I put the case on the second time to recharge the phone with the remainder of it's charge - I do not get more than another 8% - that's it.This leads me to believe that either the battery inside is not really 5000mAh or I have a bad device/case - that is pretty much the only possible conclusion. The Pixel XL has a 3450mAh, a 5000mAh battery pack should be able to charge it more than ~90% capacity. I would expect a full charge and at least another 30-40% charge left.I will be returning the battery case for an exchange and update the review - maybe this is just a bad battery and a replacement will actually give me the results I think I should be able to expect. I will update this review once I get the replacement and have tested it.

Pocket got sweaty and the outside layer of the case started coming off onto my hands. Little pieces of black rubber. Now it looks bad and feels bad.

I had my phone and the case up to 100%, plugged it in overnight, and the phone was down to 55%. Maybe usefull as a backup battery, but charging it with the phone plugged in doesn't charge the phone, just the case. Wish that wasn't the case (LOL).

It works good but bulky

My initial case defected but the customer support was amazing. They quickly sent a replacement which works as advertised. I can get about 4 charges from 50% to 100% before it needs recharged.Previous Reviewi want really hoping his would be as advertised but on a full charge it will only charge my pixel about 50% before it's down to 1/4 led lights and shortly after is drained. Maybe I got a defective one but it's not even close to 5000mah that's it's advertised to be

I have had similar issues as other customers; the first attempts to charge the phone while inside the case were unsuccessful (charging was intermittent), but that resolved itself within a day. Now, the issue only repeats itself when I use a ridiculously-strong adapter, such as the USB-C charger for my Chromebook. Another issue, which another customer mentioned, is that the case gives off a high-pitched whining.On to the good stuff.It is a nice and slim case for being a 5,000maph battery. It is smooth, looks good, feels sturdy, and does its job of keeping the phone last up to multiple days. Once they iron out the kinks (this was their first shipment, after all), this will be a must-buy for Pixel/Pixel XL owners. The vendor has been nothing but helpful, and they stand by their warranty; they have offered to replace my case due to the minor bugs. I do not regret my purchase.

It's a sleek battery case but it's a slow charger to the phone. Overall, it's a good backup.
