The XTool D8BT Identified A Problem That We Had For Months In 10 Minutes
We have a 2006 Subaru Tribeca, last year it started flashing the Cruise Control dashboard indicator and the traction control indicator when the engine was cold, when the engine warmed up and you stopped and restarted the engine, everything would be fine again. The cruise control would work normally and no dashboard indicators were lit. The issue progressed over the year from intermittent issue in the winter to a solid problem in the summer heat, I no idea what the cause could be.I had recently purchased the Xtool D8BT, I hooked it up and ran the auto diagnosis feature, within a few minutes it identifies the issue as being a defective "Steering Angle Sensor" in the interior of the car, in the steering column. I source a replacement "Steering Angle Sensor" from a car recycler, installed it and problem fixed.Needless to say I'm very happy with the Xtool, Xtool Support Team, and the result.Thank You

Excellent tool. A must buy!
Good scan tool with a robust selection of well supported software for nearly every make and model vehicle. Supports a good amount of bidirectional functions and tests. The scan tool itself is rugged and detects the vehicle quickly. Menus are easy to navigate though and the live data can be graphed in many different ways. The customer service is great so far. I was contacted through email before the tool even got to my door. Their responses are immediate. Their updates are far less expensive than autel. It is quickly becoming mandatory to have one of these to service any new vehicle. This would be an excellent choice for any small shop, independent tech, or DIY.

Advanced scanner for less money
I already have a TopDon 800BT series small scanner and it works fine but I was looking for something pro level. Usually pro level scanners cost 1500-2000+ range and I came across Xtool D8 BT under 1000CAD. This tool is very much capable of doing most of the pro level functions at fraction of the cost of Snap ON and Autel scanners. On top of that it comes with 3 year of pre-paid subscription which is way better than 1 year subscription of Autel scanners. Has large screen for sub $1000 level tool and its fast. Has sufficient storoge 64GB and works extremely well.Annual subscription cost is also cheaper than other brand. I love this tool for the price it gives you lot of value. Xtool support is very responsive and they get back to you very quickly. Amazing tool with best support and reasonable priced subscription plans.

Expensive, but well worth it
I tried multiple different scanners, both wired and bluetooth, and from multiple brands before finally settling on this one. Honestly, the bluetooth feature is really nice and became a must-have. I didn't think it would be important, but then I had a fuel injector problem and wanted to be under the hood wiggling wires while watching misfires - hard to do with a 3 foot cord. This was also the only one of the readers that was able to accurately identify all of my vehicles, many of which are old: 2002 BMW, 2004 and 2006 Jeeps, and a 2020 Lincoln. Some of these are right around the time OBD2 was introduced, but it handled them flawlessly. The user interface is also a big selling point. There is nothing worse than getting lost in a series of menu's and not being able to figure out where you are, or how to move between screens easily. This tablet is responsive, the menus are easy to navigate, and layout is intuitive (at least to me).
