Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased the Finery® 63A WiFi Smart Switch this March, and it has been an incredibly useful addition to my home. I primarily use it to control my water tank motor, and it works flawlessly—even when I'm away from home. The ability to control the switch remotely from anywhere in the world is a game-changer. One of the standout features is the daily and monthly power usage reports, which have helped me track electricity consumption more accurately and manage my energy bills better. The timer and scheduler functions are also very handy, especially for automating usage. The switch works offline as well, adding a layer of reliability during network drops. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add Google Home integration, which is currently missing. Overall, it’s a robust and smart solution for anyone looking to control and monitor high-power appliances like EV chargers, geysers, or pumps.

Firstly, it is an overpriced device. Quality-wise, it is substandard. It frequently disconnects from the WiFi. Even resetting the device didn't resolve the issue. So, it is impossible to remotely manage the device. Avoid this overpriced low low-quality item

I bought this smart switch from amazon.sa and installed it back home in Pakistan in July 2025 to operate a heavy water pump motor. The pump pushes water all the way up to the 3rd floor, so this is not a light-duty application. I’ve used other smart switches before (including Finery), and honestly, they stopped working after some time. This one, however, is still going strong. We use it daily, and I’m writing this review after almost 5.5 months of continuous use. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but so far it has proven to be reliable, which matters more when you’re dealing with a heavy motor. The switch feels rugged, the build quality is solid, and installation was straightforward. The only downside for me is that when using it with the Smart Life app, there’s no power consumption monitoring feature. Some cheaper brands actually offer this, so it’s a bit disappointing at this price point. Other than that, it has performed exactly as expected. Expensive, yes—but reliable and well-built, at least up to now.
