I wrote a 5 star review previously. Now a few months into ownership the filter screen broke and they will not sell me another one! They want me to buy a completely new $90 unit to replace a part that probably costs 50 cents. Minos, you've got to be kidding me. I am not a happy camper :(

Handle gets so hot that I almost scalded myself. When I contacted the manufacturer/seller, they advised that maybe the flame was too high and the handle was too close to the flame. Not the case. And then I made a surprising discovery recently: steam/water whistling out of a tiny pinhole at the top of the handle. I took a video but can’t post it through the app, for some reason. Anyway, it’s proof that the handle is hollow, and the boiling water from the reservoir can travel through it! No wonder the handle gets so hot. As long as you don’t accidentally get a second degree burn, this thing makes good coffee. But definitely a design flaw that needs to be addressed! I bought this model because my previous moka pot had a handle with spot welds and it came apart, likely from the repeated screwing and unscrewing when tight with coffee grinds. I liked the integrated design of the Minos, where the handle falling off will never be a risk. But perhaps that’s still better than a trip to the ER. If you buy this, always use a potholder and all is well.

Not 100% stainless steel (as it's advertised)! I held a magnet to various parts of the pot and clearly it is not all stainless steel. I'm returning mine.

I've used moka pods for over 30 years and I must say this one is the best! Stainless steel inside and outside! Not just a cheap external cover. Many of the stainless steel pods sold today have only external cover and after a month or less of use they get rusty inside. Not this one! Solid stainless steel! Bought two of these (one as a gift) and both are been used heavily daily for the past 5 months without any problem! I also love the beautiful design and the great craftsmanship! Highly recommend!

i love the design of the pot, quite elegant.the handle of the pot is not hot, i read about the reviews so I tried and it didn't transfer the heat from the bottom.i'll have to see the filter will change in time....i really enjoy the flavor of the coffee, it's very smooth, exactly the way i like it.

Received item on 4/2 and it's 4/8 today, where I've only used it 4 times and the stainless steel already changed colors. I am very caring of my personal items, washing this gently with soap and water (no scrubbing) each time after few uses only for my own coffee and the bottom and upper surroundings turned a bronzed purple color. Inside is turning into a bronze color with various spots. I read several reviews and decided to go forward with this bc it was stainless steel and SAFE but now I'm very concerned after just 4 uses.

Great quality moka pot. Makes great espresso like coffee. I can make a better latte or mocha at home than at the big chain. Only wish it didn't discolor on the bottom from the heat of the stove and it does show water stains but that's simply cosmetic. Works great!

Quality built coffee pot. No dislikes. I use this daily. Compliment this with some 4 star coffee beans. Priceless

Okay yes the handle gets hot, but this stovetop makes seriously good coffee. It manages to extract consistently strong and great flavour coffee from freshly ground beans. My other stovetop is a Stella, so I am comparing with the best. Would give 4.5 stars were it an option.
