good quality, worked great and fit perfectly!
Please remember that these LED bulbs require an electronic flasher, one with a ground wire built in will work best and make the instillation smooth and easy. older cars like my jeep and mustang come with thermal or the small silver can like flashers. these bulbs will not flash with a normal thermal flasher. the electronic flasher upgrade is as easy and unplugging your old flasher and plugging in the new then running a self tapping screw for a ground or splicing into an existing ground. I was skeptical to buy these bulbs initially because of the low price compared to auto parts stores. i installed these bulbs into my 67 mustang and 1992 jeep wrangler; they not only fit perfectly but work great and are much brighter than the original bulbs i replaced! these bulbs are built well and feel sturdy. all the bulbs worked right out of the box and after several weeks i have had no issue what so ever. a very cheap and fantastic upgrade not only for longevity due to them being LED but as they are brighter than the original incandescent bulbs.

easy to reach bulbs in my 1968 El Camino
Very bright. Some much so that instead of just replacing the dim, easy to reachbulbs in my 1968 El Camino, it partially pulled the dash to get to the brighter andhard to reach bulbs. The dash is now almost too bright, but as a plus, the 50 yearold factory dimmer works perfect with these with a nice progressive reduction in output. Also happy to find that there were no loose LED caps, and the barrels and lugs wereperfectly matched to the factory 1895 sockets

These are just the brightness I needed in my 08 Audi A3 without blinding myself if I look up...
I like these bulbs in my 2008 Audi A3 but.... they are a little tricky to install in the map light housing/socket. These are just bright enough and not really bright in my Audi. I dont like to feel like I am being interrogated in my front seat but to each its own. Two things I recommend that will not only keep your bulbs clear of oils, adhesive, dirt, grease, etc that you have accumulated by just removing panels and such is to but a box of Black Nitrile powder free exam gloves around 6 mil to 9 mil thickness and a set of resin/plastic interior panel removers to help aid in not only keeps your form marring up the plastic and use the right ones and they reduce the chances of breaking any important tabs holding up the lights above in place so they snap back in. For the gloves, i prefer the 9 mil and are just tight enough to feel everything you put in your hand without bulkiness. Also they are fairly inexpensive for a box of 100 or less and are disposable. Make sure your not allergic to some of the chemicals in the ones you choose. These gloves are very tear resistant, not like some other gloves that claim to be for automotive use and tear resistant until you twist one of the bulbs and now your thumb is exposed by the gloves tearing open and ruins the point. Just get the thicker gloves and they hold up pretty well changing many of your bulbs and adds very good grip in turning these bulbs. Some claim these bulbs seem fragile and I thought that until I put them in my Audi. Granted these are truly 4 places to add these BA9S Style LEDs are the two map lights in front and depending if you have the panoramic sky view top, the other two locations are stright up above the rear seats behind the rear sunroof. So really the four they send you are just perfect as long as you dont twist these to death as the only need a slight turn to install them. Remove the originals my pushing in slightly and turning them counter clockwise any should slip right out. The trick to removing and installing the new and old lights is to pull them down at an angle since the bulbs fare towards the front of the car. This helps tremendously so the old ones come out with ease and installing the new LEDs keeping them at the angle you removed the originals and inserting them till they feel springy due to the small knubs on the sides. Not I hear some people complain about these coming loose and not will not light up. These bulbs need just a slight twist clockwise a few light pressure turns and slowly release your fingers to see if they locked into place. please the gloves help with only using light pressure since they are grippy and keeps oils and such form the flat top. Not just push the housing back up and your set. Now test them my pressing the map light buttons and they will have a nice brightness to them. When you put pack on the cover, this is where I feel these give off just the right amount of light since in the audi a3 they face forward and not downwards. I do not like my entire cabin bright white and lit up like its 3 in the afternoon on a sunny day Even with tinted windows, some lights can see exactly what your doing in the car and this will attract unwanted attention if you are driving with them on just to use them for a brief moment. I think these bulbs are made for this style of Audi so it wont blind you like some bulbs do. I just want a nice white light I can use to look for things or do some reading without straining my eyes. I may have gotten lucky because all 4 bulbs worked and took no time to put in...maybe 5-10 minutes. Because I was worried about adding more lights that are bigger and brighter, I chose to use red LEDs to match my audi lights and it gives a cool glow and I can still see my entire cabin without any eye strain. I did choose to remove the front map lights and kept the back seat map lights as they give off the right amount of light which I love. I will search and see if this company makes red LED bulbs to replace the front white map lights. If I want it to be bright in front I simply use my vanity lights above my sun visors and those festoon lights in white will virtually light up all parts of my car and I can see if anything is in my eyes or teeth with no problems. If you want them not to be too bright, depending on the style, you can turn them around to face upwards and they are still bright but not bad. I wish I could have truly tested them for brightness facing downwards, but on the other hand glad I didnt because they gave me just enough light like I wanted. I recommend them to any Audi A3 owner if they want leds and not too blinding. I forgot to mention, these did not give me any warnings, because I believe these have a resistor built in the housing so no CANBUS errors. Keep up the good work

Does not work, polarity is reverse. Bulbs light up nice and bright but polarity is reversed.

I used these in a Datsun 240z 280z dash for the gauge lighting to replace the OEM style bulbs (BA9 3.4w). They are much brighter than the BA9 4w bulbs I recently purchased. The low profile of these means they do not interfere with the OEM green bulb covers inside the gauges. I originally bought 1 set (4 bulbs) for testing and now I am back to buy the rest of what I need.

Bright light with poor assembly quality.
I bought these lights to use on a vintage car dash to make the gauges more visible at night. The first one fell apart the moment I tried to install it. There is no glue or anything holding the light in the housing, so the light twists apart when you try to turn it to lock it in place. I corrected this issue by using a punch to put a small dimple in the side of the metal housing towards the top to keep it from spinning. If they corrected this issue these would be a 5 star light.

Nice and bright but order extras.
Bulbs are nice and bright but as others have indicated they are fragile one bulb died less than 6 months after being installed.

Using these in my Honda CB125s 12v conversion. They are working perfectly as my dash lights. Very bright... almost too bright. :)
