Oneplus Buds Z2 Obsidian Black Bluetooth Truly Wireless in Ear Earbuds with Mic Active Noise Cancellation

These were my first ANC TWS earphones. Had previously tried out ANC headphones from Sony (1000xm4s) and AirPods Pro from friends, and were always amazed at what ANC could do to give you a peaceful environment and at letting you listen to your music better.Bought these with zero expectations because of the lesser price and average reviews. But I have to give it to these earphones that they work amazingly well for the price. The ANC is very good for most purposes (Loud Restaurants, traffic, loud neighbours, nagging appliance noises like Fans, Refrigerator, washing machine). A good seal in your ear is mandatory for the effect. It might not be for everyone as the anti-noise might be irritating to few people. And yes, the ANC can be turned on without anything playing. And as a medical student studying for a competitive exam, it has been an absolute blessing.The music quality is good, a little bass heavy, but sounds great with both my OnePlus 7 phone and iPad Air 4. Do not expect AirPods or Sony levels of audio fidelity.The connections have been strong, and drops if at all, were surprisingly with my OnePlus phone.I got the black ones, that blend better with my choice of clothes and do not look like trying to be AirPods. It is very light, and is much more comfortable in my ear than my previous OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z.Overall, highly recommended. Do not expect premium levels of ANC or audio fidelity. But for its price, does the job well and sounds decent.

This is my first ever pair of TWS buds and I have used this only for some hours. I used this with my iphone and not Oneplus phone. Here are my preliminary observations:1) Sounds Good. Instruments are audible separately. Sounds better than my older cheaper neckband.2) Bass is good but feels inadequate. Good thing is, there is no fake bass. Treble can get painful sometimes3) I can feel the ANC working. At its max level, It immediately & noticeably cuts some level of sound when I put this into ears. It is still awkward for me as I haven't used ANC before. However, the caller said they felt no difference with any type of noise cancellation.4) The pill shaped box feels weak and flimsy. It doesn't justify the cost. Specially the cover of the box and the hinge feel very cheap and light. The TWS themselves feel well built.5) Charging is fast. And so is the consumption of charge as I have always used it on Max noise cancellation mode. I will turn off the noise cancellation and will try again.6) Connectivity is almost instant, even with iphone. Android phones should connect even faster.7) Touch controls are working ok. However, one major flaw :: they dont have volume +/- touch settings in them. This should be a basic thing for a pair of TWS in 2022 and they should have added this instead of giving option for Siri or noise cancellation toggle. I totally forgot to check this while purchasing. This is a deal breaker for me. If I knew this, I wouldn't have purchased.Note : At first the buds and the box didn't have any charge in them. I almost panicked after fiddling with it for sometime and then charged it fully and then used them.Update 1 : After a few days of use, I feel the music is much better than it was on Day-1. Now I really enjoy listening on this buds with Apple music. No complaints to the music quality now - again this applies only to Apple music. YouTube music still sounds far worse than the previous. I'm not sure if Dolby Atmos is supported by Apple music + Buds Z2 + iPhone combination. But I've forced the Dolby to ON. And it sounds amazing.Update 2: While wearing this buds, sometimes occasionally, a very loud shrill tone plays randomly through the Buds. It is very painful (and scary too). They must remove that out in the next update.

My 2 nd oneplus purchase. The sound is good. After using it for one year the battery backup got low in the buds. I went to oneplus service center for battery replacement, but for accessories if it is under warranty they will replace the product. Then I have to go to local service center specified for ear bud repair to replace battery. I had changed both buds battery now it is working fine.Buds holds in the ear firmly. Sound is great. It has 3 modes in noice cancellation. It works fine.I am using it for more than 3 years now. Satisfied.

Go blindly and purchase them. Better than most of the other buds.Confortable, efficient, good battery life, value for money, sond's good, ANC is also fine, not That much strong but it's enough.

Please buy the product from one plus official website. I received defective product and requested replacement within the same day. But amazon is not taking any order they straight away tells you to contact the brand. Pathetic product quality and service

Superb feels like theater sound.

Not good product after 3 months lest buds stop working I still have issue with return lots of rush on service centre 😕
