Bien Dit: French 1 (French Edition)

As a new-to-homeschooling parent I decided, for French, to use the same curriculum my daughter had been using in public school. This set is easy for her to understand and helpful in teaching new concepts to students without being too hand-holdy. I like that it's not an older, "dry" curriculum as the layout and content of the lessons keep her attention and keep her focused on learning French. (It's also excellent at refreshing my years-old high school French so that I can teach her correct pronunciation etc.). If you're homeschooling and French is in your curriculum plan, I couldn't recommend the Bien Dit! set highly enough.

The book was in perfect shape and came super quickly! I also really love this edition as it includes AP prep exercises and has strong writing activities and ideas for presentations. I think that of the Bien Dit series, this book is the cream of the crop.

This is the textbook that was used at my kids' school and that my daughter is currently using in her own classroom. The price I paid was a steal and the book is in excellent condition.

I like this text for a backbone in the Grade 12 French course. It includes review of past language structures, plus excerpts from such classics as 'Le Petit Prince'. The passé simple, used in literature, is introduced in an easy way. A course should be more than just plowing through a textbook, but a well-designed book can provide a great guide for what to cover, plus good support in literature and activities. In my opinion, this text is as good as any.

Great workbook with lots of activities to help you learn French. We bought this as an aid to the Berlitz French cds that we had already purchased. Well worth the money.

This book follows along with the French curriculum at my son's school so it was very helpful to have for him to learn French. It has helpful quizzes to assess learning and was as described.

It was ok, the inside had a lot of graffiti and the pages were very worn down, but for the most part, you can read out of it and it is a very helpful tool

Great. I’m using this in combination with Rosetta Stone. I plan on ordering level 2 soon.

There are many great activities in "Bien dit!" However, I don't know where are the answers.
