Useful, and better quality than in the past.
This is an update from my earlier review (below). As I said, the caddy is just too convenient to give up, and when the old one completely bit the dust, I went for a new one. When I opened the package and started looking at the cart, I was pleasantly surprised. This cart seems much sturdier than the one I had before. I really think they have solved some of the earlier problems. The bottom, in particular, has much better support, and looks less likely to break out. Having been bitten once, I did do some reinforcing with gorilla tape, but I'm not sure it was necessary this time. Despite the problems, I used the old cart for 3 years, so I feel I got my money's worth. I think this one will last at least a long - here's hoping!I work part-time at a community college, and I have been using one of these for about 2 years. I carry a lot of heavy books and papers. After less than a year, the bottom fell out, as has happened to so many others. The plastic tabs just don't hold. I used gorilla tape to strap it together, and it has been holding up since then. I would definitely recommend buying gorilla tape and strapping the cart as soon as you buy it, especially if you are using it for heavy items. I check it periodically to make sure it's still holding togetherOther than the issue of the bottom breaking, this an altogether awesome product. I love the pockets, and the wheels have held up fairly well (I am not gentle on it!). The cover is getting pretty tatty, and I will probably replace the whole system next year, but I will definitely use the gorilla tape when I get it, to avoid having all my stuff dumped on the ground.

Read my updates...
I'm an SLP working at multiple schools and my old Lakeshore cart just totally bottomed out on me one day (file folders and papers scattered everywhere-good times!). So I decided to upgrade to this bad boy. So far I am very pleased with my choice. It was simple to put together and I have more storage pockets than I know what to do with! I can even store some of the test stimuli I need to access a lot. It seems very sturdy and I really like how high the handle is and that the button to retract it is on the actual handle itself. My old cart had a shorter handle and the retraction button was on the caddy. This just works better for me. I recommend it. :)Update 11/14/14: The bottom dropped out on me after 7 months. I think I overloaded it too heavily too often. But I really like it, so I'm going to buy the same kind again and give it another shot!UPDATE: 10/02/15: I've had the cart almost a year now (11 months)...to be honest, I don't know if I will ever find a cart that is strong and sturdy enough for me. =/ This cart's bottom has also now given out, because of parts that no longer fit together very well. With how much it flexes when you maneuver it, it seems like the cart almost "stretches out" and the bottom ends up too small for the space. But I require a large cart with storage, and no other carts seem to be any better...I will buy this cart, yet again. Hopefully the 3rd time is the charm??

Excellent storage on the go!
I used to have this same product without the canvas exterior that I used when I travel to conferences. I loved the product, but as I put a lot of heavy things in it, the bottom eventually fell out. While researching for a replacement, I found this one, which is exactly like the previous one I owned, but has a canvas cover with lots of packets and storage. I love it! It allows be to be much more organized when I travel.Knowing that the bottom would eventually fall out again, I measured the width of the bottom, cut two 1x4s and screwed them into the flaps that hang off the bottom. I also put a couple of small screws into the wood from inside the bin into the same 1x4 boards. This keeps me from being able to break down and fold away the caddy, but I never do that anyway. I am able to fit this product into the trunk of my car fully assembled and packed. With the additions I made to this product, I foresee never having to replace it. I definitely recommend buying this product (and have had my business partners get some already), as long as you make the changes I've described above.

Perfect office on wheels
I have been doing a lot of temporary and contract work. I like having my own pens, pencils, (working) scissors and other office and personal supplies. I was on a four-month assignment that ended abruptly after eight days and I was not allowed to go gather my belongings - I had to tell the agency what I remembered that was mine, and they did not bring it all back.I determined to never assume I would be coming back to an office again. I was fed up with huge tote bags, which are difficult for me to carry because of back and knee problems.I bought this cube with the amazing pocket liner and I am delighted with it. I have put my office supplies and lotions and potions (lip balm, hand lotion, sanitizer, etc) into the cube. I can bring my bottled water, my diet coke, throw in my lunch and snacks, and pretty much anything else I would have if I were working at a permanent job with my own desk. The cube is sturdy, the wheels work fine, the handle telescopes up and down as it should. I can pull it up stairs or carry it with the handles. The fabric cover is very sturdy, well-stiched, with a good variety of useful pockets.
