Beautiful workmanship & very good quality incense burner. I liked the mini tongs included in the purchase. These are truly needed for handling a charcoal heated incense burner. Material is sturdy & did not tarnish much after use. It also did not conduct heat thru the handles which is a great safety feature.

Performance could be better. Doesn’t burn for long. Does not come with coals to use with like it shows in the picture. That part was deceiving. The smell of what you use for the scent depends on the resin u use. Wish it last longer. Very Smokey. Appearance is super cute! Ease of use is easy and the size fits perfectly in any space.

An improvement was bending the edge of the tray as shown in my photos. I used a folded paper towel to pad the edge and bent inward with pliers. That gave an area to grab with the tongs plus a place to store the tongs. I break my charcoal disk into 2 or 3 pieces since I'm using powdered resin and that seems to be better for me. However, I like using an adjustable height candle burner better - the scent of the resin smoke is not overpowered with charcoal smoke. (Also, I didn't like the smell using cooking oil with the powder with the candle burner). A tea candle will not work to burn the resin in this beautiful burner because there is not enough ventilation. I do love this burner and alternate between it and the candle burner.

It is a very average incense burner with one in my opinion major flaw. The "easily" removable "ash tray" as they call it is anything but easily removable it is completely smooth and when installed sits without a seem in the main sand bowl area which sounds good but means if you want to remove it you have to insert something into one of the vent holes and pry it up or nearly turn it upside down to get the tray out. There is an easy fix to this which is to have a small notch in the rim of the tray so you can get the tongs in and the tray out. I have just taken a pair of pliers and slightly bent the edge of mine so that there is a gap between the tray and bowl. This might seem like a minor inconvenience but is actually a safety risk on these types of burners. All in all a very average burner nothing special but only the one major flaw, for the price it's neither cheap nor expensive a very serviceable burner as long as you tweak the ash tray, so it actually is as they themselves claim easily removable showing clearly that they never did a practical test on the burner.
