Super solid, simple design. Wish it had more room for larger 45lb plates but if you just put slightly larger plates up top, 45lbs on the bottom and the lighter smaller plates in the middle its not an issue.

Heavy grade construction and easy to assemble with provided tools. Holds a lot of weight and does not tip over even if weight is not even on either side of the rack. Would recommend for any small home gym.

Ordered this weight tree and the parts felt sturdy out of the box, assembly was nice and straight forward (didn’t take more than 15 minutes) but once assembled with all hardware tightened down there was a small bit of wobble. Used a level on my garage floors to find an even spot but the concrete was damn near perfect in the areas I tried setting this up. Once weighted down with six total 45’s on the lowest pegs the wobble disappeared but on one side the very outside plate wants to creep out a little. Not a problem with the plate since I tried other plates with varied weights on the same peg and got the same result. The spacing between the pegs is on the narrow side so if you have plates with larger diameters they’ll probably overlap when you try to hang them up above one another (other reviews mention this too but this problem didn’t apply to me). When assembling I was easily able to sink the bolts into the metal and create concaves in the upright assembly so the metal’s definitely thinner there. I don’t think I got a “bad apple” since the packaging and delivery was perfect, but I do think this is a piece of gym equipment meant for light residential use so “industrial grade” really isn’t a fitting descriptor. I’ll be installing 3/4” gym flooring that this tree will rest on and hopefully over time the tree and pegs will settle under the weight of 420 total pounds on a dedicated cushioned spot and feel even more sturdy. Won’t bother with a return since this is probably as good as it’s going to get at this price point, but definitely some things to consider before making your purchasing decision. I just hope the pegs won’t sag over time, but if I can get at least a year without any weights slipping off I’ll consider it a win. Till then, 3 1/2 stars. EDIT 11/08/2025 4/5 stars ~ After installing some gym flooring (3/4” thick foam puzzle pieces) and after a few weeks of use I can say that the weight tree’s been able to settle and feels more sturdy than before. The problem with the plate wanting to creep out and off of the peg no longer exists for me, and after moving the weight tree more than once on the new flooring it still feels pretty solid. I have iron plates so I’m pretty sure the chrome plated pegs will peel at some point due to the all the friction of racking and unracking, but if you have bumper plates (which is what this tree’s intended for) then it shouldn’t be a problem for you. I also forgot to mention in my initial review that the barbell holder feels pretty good, keeps my Texas Power Bar upright with a snug, not tight, fit. No jingling or concerns about the metal bending at this time. As I’d hoped, this weight tree’s growing on me.

I bought this a year ago. Very thoughtful, space saving design, which I needed. I bought a similarly designed rack made by Marcy, on Amazon, recently. Big mistake, because the posts on it are not polished stainless steel like this Fitness Reality rack. What is the difference, you ask? If you use Bumper Plates, which I switched to at the recommendation of my Physical Therapist, the tolerance of the holes in them is much more precise and on virtually all the other racks, the posts are powder coated. The powder coating adds enough diameter that my Bumper Plates (from several manufacturers) do not pass over the posts or they get stuck on them. No one needs to be expending energy trying to put on or remove a plate from a storage rack while working out. The Fitness Reality rack has posts that are slightly less diameter in general, so everything fits wonderfully over them. If you are only using non-bumper plates, you won't notice this difference. I wish, however, I would have bought a second Fitness Reality rack.

Works well with my set of cheap Fitness Gear brand plates from Dick's, easily fits 2 x 45, 2 x 35, 2 x 25 , 2 x 10, 4 x 5, 2 x 2.5 and could definitely fit more of each size. Not sure how it would work with more standard bumper plate diameters (all of mine get progressively smaller)

Ahorra mucho espacio por su diseño, soporta bastante bien el peso, fácil de armar, el material de muy buena calidad

The center post is welded to the base so it is very sturdy! I was pleasantly surprised as I loaded over 500 lbs of plates onto this rack.
