Fancy Nancy Take-Along Storybook Set: 5 Storybook Adventures

I love fancy Nancy and I love that my daughter loves her even more. She has simple, pure stories with good lessons. In a world were genders have become equal, I love that fancy Nancy isn’t that way. I saw a review that complained about Nancy saying boys don’t wear tutus, but she’s right - they shouldn’t! I am happy to have my daughters reading books about a girly girl and knowing what boys shouldn’t do. If those types of things offend you, then you probably shouldn’t buy these books. As for me, I will continue to buy them for my daughter and happily not have to change words as I read to her.

Five books for $7.78 when they retail for $4.99 each is a good deal! And they came in great condition inside their box. I’ve found with this set that I don’t love every Fancy Nancy book out there, but I’d say this bundle is definitely worth it for the price.

Fancy Nancy has quickly become one of our favorite series! The stories encourage apologies, kindness, and respect. We love Fancy Nancy!

"Fancy Nancy" books are always a hit with kids. They're funny & captivating. I have found that children like to act out the stories.

I thought these were beautiful and fun with good words for my 3 year old granddaughter. We have been reading to her since she was born. Really! Children today do not hear beautiful words and know the meaning. She loved them!!!! I had no idea she had checked these out of the library pre-covid and was familiar with Fancy Nancy! It has been 3 weeks and her parents and grand parents have been reading them over and over and today she floored me since she could pronounce the french words and knew the meaning ,but, had memorized all of them verbatim!!! Her Mom said she has been using the bigger words and said the grocery store was pandemonium yesterday! Beautiful words, pictures and stories!

The media could not be loaded. We like these books a lot and appreciate the case to conveniently carry them with us in the car or to visit a friend.

My daughter loves them

What a fantastic little collection of Fancy Nancy books! My young daughter loves to carry the books by their little handle when we're going to her grandparents or a sleepover somewhere. The stories are interesting and while not perfect, certainly try to teach valuable lessons through Nancy's mistakes or her thoughtfulness towards others. The artwork and pastel colours are great to look at and many of the pages have details in the background that my daughter loves to point out in addition to the story.

My 5.5 year old is learning to read longer words, and she is absolutely thrilled with this. I've only given her one book out of the 5, so she can savor it.She has already re-read the Late, late, late Night about 5 times.The illustrations are detailed. And the introduction to "fancy" words like exhausted, celebrity, fascinating and Au revoir are age-appropriate.

Lovely set of books, really happy with size, gorgeous little carry case, my little girl is 5 and she loves it!!

Wonderful use of language. Makes learning new words an enjoyable experience that isn't work at all! Also beautifully illustrated.Given as a gift for a granddaughter.
