Nice stable mount
Works great, reasonably secure. Video is flawless when using a camera with decent stabilization (GoPro Hero 10 in my case).Clamps are plastic and maybe not the most robust, but good enough for the price.

Good and solid if used with in reason.
Easily mounted on my headrest supports. Locked down tight. Is supporting my Vivitar camera with no problem. Important to remember that setting the telescopic arm out to its max will allow the camera to become unstable (wiggle). I have my camera extended only about half way out and it's firm and stable. Pleased with the purchase.

Keeps em honest - read my review
I use this to mount a dash cam over my right shoulder and capture the gauges on my vehicle dash cluster. I was stopped by a bunch of state troopers at once who claimed I made an unsafe lane change after following me for a few miles. Two minutes after stopping me they had me out of the car and were walking a dog around my car. It was the worst policing for profit scam I had ever seen. Having a dash cam over your right shoulder, and not on your windshield, will record your turn signal lights and speedometer. Then when you get stopped by unethical cops, you can prove they lied. Also, if you think you can request their dash cam footage be prepared for weeks and weeks of going back and forth, delay games, verbal threats, and redactions in the video they send you. The records custodian is usually the police commander, not an independent third party. They send you footage of your vehicle being stopped, but not the moments before the stop which would prove your signals were used. Hiring a lawyer to get that footage released in court will cost you a thousand dollars or more, if you can find a lawyer to go to court with that nonsense. The cops know this, so record your signal use, and speedometer over your right shoulder.

Too shakey
This mounting position is way too shakey for any good footage. You cannot get anything tight enough for the footage to be good. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Cool at first then gets shaky and squeeky with little use
Been looking for something like this for a long time. Seems well made but everything is plastic. Everything works the way it should. Fits securely on headrest posts. You get a better pov and no suction mounting to windshield. We'll see how long it lasts but initially it's built solid. No shaking or instability on recording. No jello. This is not for anything bigger than a gopro. I would not mount a dslr.Update: I am getting a lot of squeaking and shaking now. Maybe it's broken in or the plastic is wearing out. Kinda irritating all the footage I shoot is shaky and squeaky. Haven't used it much. Tried moving it to the drivers side and tightening everything down but nothing seems to fix it.

Great mount!!
This was the cheapest ($20) Headrest mount I could find online. The next cheapest was $50. The build quality exceeds my expectations for the price. It would be nice if there was a height adjustment though. I know you could just adjust the height of the headrest, but in my case it wasn't enough. The only complaint with this mount was that the screw that holds the part which secures the camera to the telescope was slightly loose when it came out of the box which caused some play between the telescope and the camera mount and that ended up causing some jitter in the video. If you tighten the screw just a bit that should solve the issue. I'm glad that there was a screw to tighten instead of a pin.

It's cheap..... That's it.
A lot of people will complain that their videos shake a lot..... But keep in mind that in order for the videos to not be shaky a few things: Camera must have both software and hardware stabilization. If that's not possible. Then you must have a camera rig that has some stabilization added via springs/hydraulics /pneumatics. Those cost hundreds or couple thousand dollars. So with that in mind, this works well. I used a foam piece so the bar sits on the shoulder part of seat which helps stabilize it along with a 1lb weight on inside part of the mount to act as a counter-balance. So the video will only "shake" when I drive over really rough pavement or bumps. If you've tried every other mount and either or won't stay put or gives poor angles, this is the mount you need.Edit 9/30/24: The plastic locking nut that is used to tighten the camera to the ball joint got misplaced/lost. There is specs given for the size so for now I'm using a zip tie to hold it in place. You can't message the seller to even purchase replacement parts for this. So I'll be going to a hardware store to find a nut that will fit and work as a replacement. So if this problem has no fix I'll be buying a different brand for a new one. Also the joint that holds the second segment, the extension, has a pin that slowly is becoming loose. For these two reasons I'll be down grading this review to three stars. I don't feel like this product will at least make it to at least a year.
