wix filters are top notch. they are rated in the top 2 in the world. easy to install. works grewat. fit perfect. and nice and clean appearance.

All I can say is for the price its great quality. And some auto parts stores charge alot more for this exact filter. I used it for my 6.0 powerstroke coolant filter kit it spun on effortlessly and sealed great. Save some time and money and order this for your coolant filter kit.

Used it to put between my radiator and my heater core on my 2010 Dodge Nitro. I had just replaced my heater core that got clogged with stuff from radiator and engine. I finally replaced it after a year, and it definitely prevented stuff/buildup from getting into the core.

It was a fairly easy project, but the fittings are not direct thread in, Had to use an adapter on the vent to go from 1/4 to 3/8, also the plug in the head was a 1/2 and had to reduce to 3/8 with a 3" pipe and a 3/8 union. The clamps were very poor as before you could begin to tighten them down they stripped out and when you try to back off the screw comes out. Other same type items cost way more so the fooling around to make this work was not all that bad, just be ready to make it work as it is NOT a direct fit. Also the mounting bracket holes to the filter mount were off, but a few minutes with a file and the holes were opened up and was ok. The problems with this made a 1.5 hour job into about 3 hours to round up the parts and search my junk draws for the fittings needed. You will need smaller clamps for the 2 hoses as the ones supplied are to big and will NOT clamp down small enough before stripping. It is still a good buy just be aware of the issues..

This filter is used on my Mishimoto 6.0 powerstroke coolant filter kit. After 8,918 miles on the first one I was getting curious. Truck now has 90,000 miles on it & I've flushed the coolant 4-5 times before installing this. I chopped it open & seen that it was very clean inside. No debris anywhere. Think wix has this at 50% @27 microns. Plenty good enough for a coolant filter.

Worked great on my diesel coolant bypass system!

Solved a very contaminated honda civic coolant system where we had to replace radiator and heater core. The heater core kept getting clogged. I installed this, it catches the particules right before the heater core and car has been fine ever since. Client was very happy we wouldnt have to tear his engine apart to clean it.

With a 27 Nominal micron rating, this is a awesome filter for your coolant. I use it on my Ford 6.0 and the crud it captures is astonishing. Highly recommended.
