Q: Do I need a adapter to use this lens on the z6ii camera body???

No adapter needed for a Z-series Nikkor lens to any Z-series Nikon camera body. The Z mount is a match.

Q: Is z 24-120 S stabilized?

This lens does not have it but if you're using it on the Z6-6II, Z7-7II, Z5 and Z9 then they all have in body stabilization and your good to go. But if you have the Z50 and ZFC they do not so your out of luck.

Q: Does this lens allow mechanical shutter option when it is attached to a z camera? on my z6ii with 24-120, it does not allow mechanical shutter option.

It does have an auto/manual switch.

Q: Will this lens fit a Nikon D90 ?

No, this is the Z mount lens. For the Nikon D90, you need the F mount version of 24-120 f/4
