Bought this for the church I worked at as their Visual Arts Director. Every time I filmed a testimony or anything with audio, I always had someone clap and kept saying in the back of my head “I have to get a clapboard one of these days.” And I finally did! These colors match the church’s colors so I had to buy it! Good size. Occasionally the screws connecting the clapper come loose, but I screwed those in pretty tight upon receiving it and they haven’t come loose since. Bought white chalk markers to go wi this. Just need a microfiber cloth or dry eraser and you’re good to go to use this! It also served as a nice thing to “pass the torch” with so to say when I transitioned out of the position and passed it on to a new person.

This is a good quality clapper board. I had another one that quit working when I was only a third of the way through filming. This one is way more heavier, better quality and the bright yellow and black stipes makes it easier to spot when looking for it if you place it down. It works well, the magnets make it easier to use. You need to use a white maker or chalk will work too. So far it is good will see how it fares at the end of the film. Definitely would recommend this study Clapper for film making.

We use this each night at our VBS for our theme every night.

This is well made and so much fun for home family videos. We used for our annual Christmas video and it made the experience even more fun.

the tiny screws that hold top of clapper arm keep coming loose. in fact one screw was lost already.
