very well built
I added this to the top of my chimenea and painted it to match. It looks good and is built well, hopefully it will hold up for the price (which we thought was a little steep for a chimenea topper,which are available around here in Texas starting approx. $ 15; it was built sturdily,however, so we hope it lasts a few years)

So easy to bend
Very cheaply made and awkward to install. Had to add extra screening to assure not critters could get in.

Works but be careful...
I've worked for a chimney company before, installed a number and seen a variety of models. I clean my own chimney and that of a few friends so I am reasonably competent.I decided to give this one a go because the price was decent and overall seemed okay. I would still say that but with a couple of notes. The chief one being at the screen is far too small and fine to not become clogged with ash after only a few weeks of moderate usage. At which time you will begin experiencing backflow of smoke and have to climb up and bang the screen off. Not always the easiest thing to do for everybody. Second reason being that it doesn't come with anything too secure it to the chimney there are no pre-drilled holes for putting screws at nor is there any kind of band that you can tighten down it is just supposed to snugly fit on which if you live in a place with heavy weather or strong winds isn't going to work.All in all I would say if you get it remove the screen, as I did after the second time of it clogging, or buy one without a screen. And pre-drill holes while you're on the ground as even self-tapping screws will be hard to put through two layers of metal while balancing on the roof.

Screen not for wood fire chimney
Screen is to small for wood fire stove it clogs very quickly with creosote I really didn’t need the screen so i removed it just need a top to keep water from come down chimney it will fit on the inner pipe of a double or triple wall pipe

Nice sturdy design. Fits well and easy installation. Not sure yet if the screen will clog up but I hope not, because we've had birds caught down the chimney several time in the past.
