This is a great product for the heart. My cardiologist put me on it to control sleep induced elevated pulse rate. I would wake after being asleep for several hours with a pulse rate around 120 although my blood pressure would be normal (120/80) It felt like I had just run a mile. No more night sweats after just about 10 days. Been on it for 2 years now and no further problems . It is supposed to control hormones and it definitely does for me. I have a nervous system disorder and I am much more relaxed now. There is a difference in R-Alpha Lipoic acid and alpha lipoic acid..First time I bought the wrong one and it actually worsened my condition. Genceuticals offers the best I could find for viability and also for the price. I highly recommend this product.

The best lipoic is the R. it states. I am not sure. I took Lipoic acid for quite awhile about a year ago. I stopped. I am in Florida and breaking out once again with what seems to be bites, but lots of inflamation. Dermatologist prescribed creams, did not work. Then I ended up with having to get a pacemaker. I have had that for 6 weeks now. The bites are bad again so I tried on of these last night and the inflamation started to go down! I want to make sure it is safe with the pacemaker. Also I learned that if you have thyroid disorder, be careful. If you take meds for it, do not take this near the time you take thyroid meds. I am spacing it out now and will stay with the 300. I used to use the 300 twice a day rather than the 600 all at once, as the doctor recommended.

R-Lipoic was recommended by my doctor for neuropathy due to chemo. I can definitely see the difference in my feet. I would recommend this product. The 2 for deals are a great value if you can get them.

extremely hard to digest being very acidic. Benefits are more then questionable as neither are results noticeable nor is the method of manufacturing explained. As with most existing supplements, it's more then likely that these are produced with some GMO product involved as well.
