Red pencil
Needed red and blue erasable pencils for engineering school. I’ve never been crazy about the brand, as I’m not crazy about their goofy compressed wood and prefer the cheaper ones honestly. With that being said, the red doesnt transfer to paper nearly as red as I would hope, and post erasing, leaves residual red streaks unless you want to erase through the paper down to the table. All in all, it is however, a red pencil, so it does an alright job of being a pencil that is red

Broken lead, don't buy this
Every pencil I sharpened had broken lead all the way through the pencil, so as soon as you started to sharpen the lead fell out - over and over until I gave up after going through two of the four pencils this way. Tried it on three different pencil sharpeners to make sure it wasn't the mechanics of the sharpener. One was electric, one the old conventional classroom hand crank, and one a handheld sharpener. Same result, ever 1/4" or so the lead was broken and made the pencil useless.

Perfect Grading Pencils!
I use these to grade my student's artwork. I can find them here on Amazon and at my local stores. I like using these to provide short feedback on the back of my student's work. I let them know early in the semester that it is erasable and shouldn't be a permanent part of their artwork...even if it is on the back. They should read the constructive feedback and then erase it; or leave it, if they want to know why they received that particular grade in future years.

Don’t waste your $
Have been a Ticonderoga user for years but these were such a disappointment. Immediately after sharpening the lead was breaking inside the pencil and rendering them useless. Will switch to mechanical Mr. Pen red pencils.

Junk don’t buy
Doesn’t erase at all. Was expecting so much more from a reputable name brand. These feel waxy like a crayon not like a pencil and you would have to burn up the entire eraser to take a couple words off your paper. Furthermore, even though it’s a “prime” item, they aren’t returnable or eligible for a refund. I’m not seeing where it says so on the items page but whatever. I learned my lesson.
