In use for 4 months and going on strong
The main thing I liked about this privacy screen is that it is less expensive than most of the other ones I've found. I have to have this for my school exams, and it does the trick. I sit in an exam room with 100 other people, and I can't tell any difference in the quality of this one and most of the others. The adhesives have held on strong for me. Maybe important to note is that I leave the privacy screen on 24/7, so that could help with the durability. In terms of vision, like with all privacy screens, angle is important. If someone is standing directly behind you they will be able to see what you're doing. But if someone is 2 feet off to your side all they see is black. In terms of battery life? I guess it's asking because you will likely want to turn up your brightness with the screen protector on. The screen is visibly darker for you when you're using it, but not to any degree where you will become unable to see the screen yourself. And to be honest, the darker you can handle the screen, the less likely other people will be able to see what you're doing (darker for you, darker for everyone else too). I can still use this laptop to watch videos on youtube, read news articles, and do anything else. It has not affected usability one bit.

It's not for sunny days outside but great for privacy!
I am only disappointed because I didn't understand it's purpose. It is NOT for use in the sun or outside to reduce glare outside. It is for privacy as it says. I work from home so it was more important that I be able to sit outside and still be able to read my screen on sunny days. Other than that, it's a great product anyway.

Lacks full privacy
This screen does not offer the amount of privacy I was looking for. I bought this because I am a freelancer and am often in a room full of clients answering emails and building budgets and other documents for other clients. There is some privacy - as it makes it harder to read the text on the screen. But if I was on Amazon.com the person sitting beside me would know that I am on that site. They may or may not be able to tell what I was looking at.The other downside is that the screens build causes lines to appear through your view.I've attached a video and photo to better show the lack of privacy.

Mediocre
I'm using it on an HP Zbook G3 15.6", Intel530 and Nvidia Quadro M1000M display adapters, resolutions 1080p, regardless of the side used(gloss/matte), I can see blurred black lines, it's obviously conflicting with the screen refresh rate, it makes this almost unusable, or at least not for longer periods of time. I was expecting that it will take away from the brightness but not that it would create this flicker/refresh effect. In terms of privacy, it's mediocre too, I'd say it dims the visibility by 30% max for side viewing.I'm going to return it, it's not worth the money. Seems only 3M can build a proper privacy filter, unfortunately it's double the money...

Not great for viewing
The privacy filter was a bit too big for the monitor I purchased it for, despite measuring and re-measuring before ordering. This means the filter doesn't sit as close to the screen as I would like and thus the viewing angles are reduced dramatically. The filter itself doesn't provide as crisp of an image as the filter I already have on my second monitor. Overall I would not re-purchase.

Adhesives are too long for the screen and difficult to apply/remove
Sort of disappointing! The blue stickies are too long for the sides of the screen, and removing the soft application seems impossible and I can't separate them without making a mess of it. So I just have it sitting there sadly. I'm using the flush application and not the slide out one. Sucks because it is a nice screen, I just can't put it on!

Did not for my pc screen

It's okay.
Does the job. There is no place for the webcam, so it blocks that out, unfortunately. I may end up trimming the top. I also have issues with the weird vertical lines that someone else mentioned. Not sure what it's from.
