Runaway Groomsman was an amazing read!!The cast of lively characters instantly draws you in.It starts with a bang… Sawyer is the runaway groomsman… he is running away from his ex marrying his friend! I laughed picturing the scene. I laughed picturing him wearing his tuxedo …. What a tuxedo it was!!He ends in the town of Canoodle and decides to keep a low profile there… away from the gossips and the paparazzi!Fallon moved back to Canoodle to look after her grandpa , Sully and to help him renovates the cabins.Sawyer gets to know Sully and I have found their relationship so endearing. I loved every scene with both of them… the bench, the clockJaz needs to be mentioned as she also brought so much to the story! The interactions between her and Julia were comedy gold!!'I swooned. I laughed. I felt every degree of emotion.Runaway Groomsman is utterly delicious - every single ingredient for the perfect love story is here in this fun and witty story.Canoodle is a magical place and I loved the storytelling as I fell under its spell.

This was a slow burn romance, full of heart and humour. I loved how the MC developed an understanding and fell in love. Jaz was a great secondary character, as was the quirky town with a cat for a mayor; and Fallon's grandpa Sully was well drawn. The scenes between them were tender and heartbreaking for me as someone who has cared for a relative with dementia. A mature and accomplished novel by Meghan Quinn.

I enjoyed this book, it had lots.of whimsical humour, lovable characters and the storyline and plot were both engaging.4 ⭐ for me as I felt it just plodded along in places. It is VERY slow burn and although not steamy, it was very romantic.If you enjoy small-town romances with a host of interesting characters, then I would recommend.

I don’t know how Meghan does it, I’ve loved everyone of her books, so easy to read, full of real feelings, laughs a plenty, I just love her books and this one was just beautiful

What a brilliant addition to Meghan Quinn’s amazing books, I loved Sawyer and Fallon,there were lots of laughs, some tears and some heart warming moments plus lots of great side characters. I also love that some of the other characters from Meghans other books get mentioned. Truly fantastic

I loved, loved this book. It made me laugh and cry. Loved Sawyer, Fallon and how Sawyer was with Sully even warmed to Jaz in the end.It is a wonderful book which I will read again so have just bought it to keep.

A great read. Sad, funny and a happily ever after. Not sure what else you could ask for in one book. Definitely recommend reading this book. Great author and great story telling.

I absolutely adored this book. It was so funny and so cute. I loved the small quirky town and its residents. Definitely one of my favourite books this year.
