The multiple part construction of this case makes it easy to install on the tablet, fitting snugly around the tablet. I've had many cases like this, and they always help. I'm not 100% confident it'd protect the screen from a high fall, but that's not really in my future for this. For the cost, it's a good and durable case that will protect your device better than a rubber case alone. The kickstand is great, and it easily stows in the back when not in use. Overall it's a good case to hold, and it has worked well so far for me. It's nothing to write home about in terms of style, it looks pretty basic and spartan, but again that's just fine with me. There aren't a plethora of options out there for this tablet, and the value of this case when compared to the others is pretty high. Removing the case for cleaning isn't that easy, you may struggle opening the plastic components, so make sure you keep the weird little tool it comes with handy. This helps save your fingernails and also protects the plastic of the case so you're gouging away at it with a screw driver!

Bought for a friend's tablet who is hard on her electronic equipment. So far it has protected the Galaxy tablet well from many drops.

Fits the tablet perfectly and it seems like I could drop it from at least 5 feet up without worrying about it (no, haven't tried it). This case gives the tablet enough gerth that it's easy to hold onto without having your fingers so close to the screen and the included kickstand makes it easy to prop up for hands free viewing. It comes with a key to release the kickstand, but it's not really necessary to use it, just dig your finger under the kickstand and it pops out. Good to know it's available though, just in case. All in all, well made and it seems like it'll last a while. Highly recommend.
