This is a great grow light. Powerful enough so that my seedlings just keep reaching for it. I've moved it up twice already! Only negative is this baby gets hot! (but this can be good for winter seedlings!)

Might be broken it’s glass

I used this bulb for little over a month and it went out. Luckily it happened when I was home so I could shut it off. Would be nice if someone would send me a replacement.

Ordered this figuring by cost it was a no name chinese made bulb, quite surprised to open it and find it was a Sylvania, seems to be as good as any other 400W bulb, but seemed brighter, at least to my eyes. Overall, I can't speak to longevity, but, most of these I replace before failure, for at least two years of use.
