Does what it says on the tin
Very easy to set up and use, does exactly what it says it will and is a very good price for what you are getting

Nice scanner but no good for my BMW e60
The scanner is a nice piece of equipment and easy to use but unfortunately it couldn't connect to my BMW e60. I had updated all the software beforehand. It also couldn't read the VIN number so it was no good to me. It seemed to work ok with my son's e39 but since I bought it for my car I had to return it.

Won't connect to ecu
Well add says it read engine codes but the sr2 model apparently is only ABS ans SRS so useless really mine pics up the car but does brake and oil reset that I can do via dash without this and only reads SRS and ABS not engine as stated so really pointless I'm sorting out return as I speak

Correctly identifies fault codes and more!
The media could not be loaded. My daughter and I both own cars with a lot of technology. We both love all the gadgets like parking sensors, keyless entry, satnav etc. It is also really handy to have messages flash across the digital dashboard to let us know for example, when oil/water levels are low or when the service is due. My husband on the other hand hates any kind of onboard computer such as ECUs and he gets really annoyed when he has to find a garage to switch off any warning lights or error messages after he has resolved the problem. My son already has a diagnostic system similar to this one, but it is specifically designed for the particular make of car that he owns. This Thinkcar Thinkscan SR2 scanner is more generic and the can be used on many different makes and models of car.I thought this scanner would be a perfect solution for my husband, but I didn’t think about the technical knowledge and understanding that he would need to learn how to operate this diagnostics tool. He did try to read the instructions but couldn’t really make much sense of them.Luckily, my son came to the rescue and showed my husband how to connect the scanner to my car and how to read and delete the fault codes. My son is really impressed with this scanner which provides in-depth diagnostics of ABS and SRS systems. Live data is available and there is even a recording function. This Thinkscan SR2 scanner appears to be ideal for an advanced home mechanic who would have a good understanding of some of the more complex fault descriptions.Having watched my son operate this scanner, I think I now understand why my husband prefers his old (sorry, I should say vintage!) Triumph Stag, which has no computers and doesn’t need much more than a box of spanners to fix any problems! I still like having all the new technology at my fingertips though and can see how useful this tool is going to be!

Probably the best OBD scanner I've ever used!
The media could not be loaded. Got a car? Need a diagnostic tool? This is the THINKCAR ThinkScan SR2 OBD2 Scanner, 5" Touch Screen, WiFi, Measures 11.5 x 20.5 x 3cm, Includes USB to USB C lead. This is the most comprehensive OBD scanner I've ever had, this connects to WiFi so you can update. It is all touch screen too!First use you will need to power up via USB C input, connect to your WiFi, then go to updates. You will need to update with all latest fixes, this will take about 10 mins. Once done, simply input to your cars OBD port, select make / model, it will then ask you what function you need. You can tailor make your own diagnosistic or use one of the presets. Each scan will take less than 20 seconds, depending on issues! Once complete it will give you a thorough report on what is going on. If an error code pops up then you can look up in the comprehensive list. So anything from sensors to oil to emissions to power to on-board systems this can read it all. You can also generate your own DTC Lookup diagnostic report share n print data! Quality.Using this couldn't be easier, as the screen is very responsive and clear too, much like a mini tablet. The male vehicle connector was a tad tight though, as the clip slots through hole in units female unit and you have to push it down with your nail, as it locks in as such.Overall I'd thoroughly recommend this OBD diagnostic scanner, it may look expensive but it really isn't. You get a lot of scan compared to flaky rivals I've used previouslyGo get one, could save you money in simple resets.

Lot of errors
After i've spent more than half hour, installing god know what modules it needed, it wouldn't allow me to do servicing to my car.
