Works great and keeps and the squirrels can't climb it!!

It works perfectly. The squirrels have finally given up and I have recovered my cost in savings from buying so much bird feed. We have more birds feeding than every before.

You have to be able to slip it over the top or over the bottom. Lucky for us, we know a welder who was able to remove the welds, place it around the pole, and then weld it shut again.With that caveat, it does what it says it does.Upgrading to 4 stars. I've had it for nearly a year, and it (so far) has defeated the squirrels. Which is no small feat. At one point, a squirrel or something, maybe a raccoon?) attempted to crawl up inside and rip the lid off of it, but without success.There *is*, of course, still the issue that a curved "shephard's crook", with a forked bottom (for better stability), is incompatible with this, unless you have a welder friend... If it weren't for that, it would be 5 stars.

They should have informed people that you can not open to fit around the pole on the feeder. You have to be able to slide it on which is impossible unless it’s just a straight feeder pole. I’m returning mine.

Not long enough. Raccoon reaches over it.

This item arrived in two pieces. The weld clearly was defective. Instead of wasting time dealing with returns, I paid someone to fix it. They put a pop rivet on all three tabs. Aside from poor welding, the item does keep the squirrels out of the bird feeders.

It works perfectly. Quick delivery. Everything I expected.
