Work great
These panties are very comfortable and provide enough absorption to handle minor leaking. This 74 year old women appreciates the protection these provide. They are also very pretty

Reliable and comfortable period back-up
I was interested in Thinx underwear, because I have an issue with leaking out the back of even really long overnight pads at night. It can be quite stress inducing if I'm staying at a friend's place or a hotel. So I figured these were worth trying because they're a similar idea to Thinx and way cheaper. These work great for that purpose. The lining in the back goes all the way to the waistband, and pretty far up in the front. They don't absorb much, they more just provide a leak-proof barrier. So I usually wear them with a menstrual cup. At night I wear them with a menstrual cup and a reusable menstrual pad (I have a super heavy flow) and they've saved me from getting blood on my sheets several times in the past few months. They are very high-waisted, ending about an inch and a half below my belly button which may annoy some people. However, I love how secure it makes me feel. If you listen super closely, they do make a slightly swishy sound when you walk, but not enough to be noticeable to anyone else. They also feel good quality, but I haven't had them long enough to tell how well they will hold up over time. I'm tall, with thin legs, average hips and stomach and a slightly above average rear. I usually wear a size 12 in pants and a size large in underwear, and the US size large in these fits perfectly. My only caution would be that if you have thicker legs or wide hips, the leg openings might be a bit tight. However, since that's not my body-type, I can't say for sure. Overall, great back-up to another form of period protection.

Good enough for the price
This underwear is pretty good quality for the price. Unlike other period panties I have tried they are not as good. They are thinner, seem to have less layers in the crotch and they don't wick moisture away nearly as well as all the others I have tried. Additionally, I'm solidly a 2X in all types of bottoms (pj's, sweatpants, yoga pants, leggings). But I had to purchase a 4X in order to get a pair that fits properly. If that's the case then why did I give it a 4 star review? Because # 1 the other under I'm comparing this to costs $25 each and for nearly the same price I get 4 pairs of this kind. You totally do get what you pay for and this will work for everyday wear and/or spotting and light flow days. And #2 they actually fit nice!!!! Yes I had to size up 2 sizes but they are at least fat girl friendly enough to carry my size. I also like the high waisted "granny panty" style and they actually carry it unlike the other, more popular and expensive brands. Overall this is a good deal.

Great period protection, Attractive, No Noise or Odor,Stains Easy to Remove
These are ultra attractive. I'm 5'3, 170 pounds, and the medium fit so comfortably I can't tell they're on. I was concerned about the noise others report and I can tell there is slight noise when I handle them, but I can't hear it while wearing them. I was also concerned about heat but no issues there, either. I wore these with reusable pads on my heavy days and the strip is wide enough to hold pads in place without moving. On my light spotting day I just wore the panties alone and it did not leak through. Amazing! No odor either. Here's how I got the stain out so it looks new: I first rinsed the panties in the sink while the blood was still wet to get the worst out but I had worn overnight so some was really set in. I wrung it out well and let it air dry. Then I sprayed the stain with oxyclean stain remover and rubbed it in well. I laundered it on a heavy cycle with an extra rinse, in a load the other period panties and my reusable pads, using oxyclean detergent and a scoop of oxyclean odor blast. I let it air dry. No odors and stains when it comes out! I highly recommend these to keep from leaking through your tampon, pad, or cup on a heavy day and by itself for light days.

They're ok...
These worked out exactly as I figured they would. Here are some thoughts, based on some of the reviews and questions I've read: * THEY ARE NOT ABSORBENT AND DO NOT TAKE THE PLACE OF A PAD OR TAMPON: I have a very heavy flow and often leak through my tampon. I usually wear a pad as backup, but I hate the 'diaper' feeling of pads. So with these, I feel like I'm wearing regular underwear and I don't have to worry about stains going thru to my pants if I do leak. However, when you do leak, you can feel the wetness right against you. These don't wick away the wetness or anything like that - in fact, if you do leak, you'll want to take them right off and put a dry pair on. (I actually carry extras on my really heavy days) * YOU CAN HEAR THE PLASTIC: they have plastic inside (between the layer that touches you and the outside layer) and you CAN hear it when you walk. It's not very loud, but I can hear it - it's like a rustling noise. You can't hear it at all if you're wearing shorts or pants, but I wouldn't advise wearing these underwear alone (like with a skirt) - you'll hear the plastic! * THEY'RE HOT: I think because of the plastic, they do retain heat. I notice it only slightly during the day (it's winter though!), but at night, my bum gets really hot - I've woken up a few times with my butt all sweaty. Not a good feeling. * ORDER BIGGER: these do run small. I'm 5'7", 150 lbs and I usually wear a 7 hipster in Hanes/Fruit of the Loom. I ordered a L in these and they're uncomfortably tight against my hips and legs. About the fit, they hit below the belly button and low on the legs - lower on the legs than my regular hipster style. I probably should have gotten the XL. (However, I ordered an XL in the mesh version of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MSIP4YR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and they were too big - like 2-3 sizes larger than these. Maybe the mesh ones ran big? I should have just ordered an XL in these instead of trying the mesh ones out. Now I have a too-big pair and a too-small pair. Frustrating. * ACCIDENTAL DRYER: I accidentally threw my black pair in the dryer and fortunately they did not shrink. I know you're not supposed to dry them and I didn't mean to, but yay - I'm calling it a plus! (However, the mesh pair above that I bought - they DID shrink in the dryer-just a note. I keep forgetting to watch what goes in the dryer!) Overall, I did like them and besides being too tight, they do work. It's so nice to walk around and sleep at night without wearing a pad. However, I can't see me wanting to wear these in the summer (my butt's going to melt!), plus I'd really like something that wicks moisture away. So in the end, I wouldn't have spent the $17+ to buy these-I would have tried out Thinx or something similar. Which is what I'm going to do now...

These work great for LBL
I use for LBL. and purchased both these and the Bamboo fabric, to try and I am SO HAPPY! with both. So things to know, about these. The fit is great for me, at size Petite 14 they are not tight, either at the waist or leg, remember, they are briefs, not bikinis. There is a little room, maybe up to a 16? I use everyday, to catch the unexpected sneeze or lift something oops! If I am not near a restroom, or unknown, I will add a pad, just to be sure. but they have the protective layer that goes all the way in front of the crotch to the back behind your bottom so plenty of area to absorb, and they don't feel wet, and I haven't had any odor problems either. I have washed and dried twice now, and one pair slipped out of the garment bag and was dried at medium temp with no problem, so you can wash and dry them in the machine, or wash in a garment bag and line dry to make them last longer. The material in these is well made and comfortable, If you are a fan of cotton, get the bamboo material instead, I have both, and like them both, these seem a bit nicer for wearing with a dress or dress pants though. the bamboo is more like a cotton panty. I will definitely be purchasing more!

Runs large
Purchased for bladder leaks. I wanted them to be loose for bed but even after washing and drying in machines, too large. Washed well with very little shrinkage.
