I've had a metal deck box for about 5 years and the struts finally gave out and the lid kept falling down - wouldn't stay open. Measured the distance from one end to the other and went on Amazon to find a replacement. Ordered these at a great price, installed them, and they work perfectly. No more crashing lids!

Well-made and good quality. Installed on truck toolbox and works great. Be careful to not pull holding clip out too for or it may go flying. I had no problem, just an FYI. Would buy again

Gas springs were 1/2 in longer than old ones. took a little effort to put on. Upgraded from 120n to 150n 33lbs thought might be a little too much, I am happy with the results. With little effort pops right open Used on a Barska biometric drawer safe.
