Cheap, poor quality
Incredibly disappointing. I have been waiting for a line of Invincible figures for years, as i've been reading the comic since 2012. I've been a huge fan since I came across the book and collected every single issue.From the moment I saw these Diamond Select figures, i thought the figures looked off, Nolan is probably the best-looking one out of the bunch. For Eve, the final product doesn't even look like the photo they used to announce the figure. But I digress, because I am not writing this review to complain about the likeness or sculpt, which is bad already. Instead, I am writing this review to point out the awful quality of the integrity of the figure.I took a chance and bought Eve. It is fair to point out that these are advertised as "Deluxe Figures", but they could not even pick the right color for the effects on Eve's hands. They picked clear plastic instead of her signature translucent pink.I opened the figure and tried posing, the peg that holds the arm snapped right off. Luckily, Amazon offers stress-free exchanges. I requested an exchange, and the exact same thing happened. The photos you are seeing on this review are of two different figures.Overall the quality of these is very cheap and an insult to collectors everywhere.Someone on social media told me that Diamond Select and NECA are well known for this kind of thing, which is a complete surprise to me coming from collecting Marvel Legends and McFarlane Toys, and that next time I should try running the joints though hot water before attempting moving them. This seems like a ridiculous and unnecessary step just to ensure the figure doesn't break, especially when they are "Deluxe Figures". I would not recommend buying these at all.
