Why not try a more ergonomic take on a traditional rectangular yoga block? These Egg Shape Natural Cork Yoga Blocks are designed to work with the natural shape of the human body and move you deeper into a posture. The curves help to alleviate pressure during your practice and they are helpful for those who are inflexible or are always tight/stiff. The Egg Shape Natural Cork Yoga Block provides support as well as comfort in both restorative and dynamic postures and can easily be used in standing, sitting, or laying postures. The egg shape is particularly effective when used under the legs in seated postures, under the back in reclining postures as the egg shape conforms to the natural arc in your back, or under your hands/wrists to relieve pressure. Since there are no corners, like in traditional rectangular yoga blocks, the Egg Shape Natural Cork Yoga Blocks are more comfortable to use and you don’t have to worry about the corners poking you during your postures. You can use the Egg Shape Natural Cork Yoga Block for Yoga, slower therapeutic practices, Pilates, Barre, or for chiropractic and physiotherapeutic exercises. Since they are made of a 100% natural cork, these yoga blocks are also environmentally friendly and a sustainable alternative to the traditional EVA foam yoga blocks for those who want a little extra piece of mind. Cork is naturally water repellant, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. This Egg Shape Natural Cork Yoga Block measures 12 inches (30.5cm) long by 4.75 inches (12.1cm) wide by 3 inches (7.6cm) thick. Care instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Perfect for supported fish if you like a firmer block
I have foam egg-shaped blocks, but I found they had too much give for my preferences. I also have rectangular cork blocks that I love, so I did a search for cork egg-shaped blocks and found this. It's great for supported fish pose and other backbend work. An aside: It smells a lot like a horse saddle, but it's not an overpowering or disruptive smell :)

These should last forever!
A bit heavy for a comfortable toss into the yoga bag, but extremely sturdy for support. I suspect that in the long run these will be my yoga blocks that have endured.

Unique
So I've never used an egg-shaped yoga block before (studios use brick-shaped ones) so just trying it out. I'm not used to the extra weight (as compared to foam) but they say it's more environmentally friendly, and when somebody else picked it up he thought it was light, so I'm sure it beats the weight of wood or bamboo. I stepped on it briefly and it supported my 120# without me thinking it would get messed up but I wasn't going to push my luck haha.

These have helped my wrists considerably. I have severe problems and thought that I would have to stop doing my yoga because of my wrists. With the Egg Block, I am going strong again.
