ThursdayMen's Duke Chelsea Leather Boot

I followed Thursday's advice and went a half size down, but found them too small. I should have stuck with the size 9 that I wear in Vans, Nike's, etc. I find I am a full size down in most boots, but I feel that staying with my sneaker size would have been a better fit for this pair.I am returning them and will not be trying the larger size. I kind of expected more based on all the hype that Thursdays receive. The construction is definitely better than a lot of boots out there, but the black leather felt/looked a little cheap. I think many of their overwhelmingly positive reviews come from people who have never owned expensive boots... these are definitely superior to department store brands, but nowhere near the high end that they are supposedly competing with. I think I would give the Cavalier Chelsea a try in suede if they ever decide to stock them in Canada, but based on this experience I'm not willing to risk having to pay return shipping ordering them from the Thursday US store.Thursday - I wanted to love you but you fell a little short. I may just be spoiled by already owning several pairs of high end boots! Please put the Cavaliers in Shadow Grey on the Amazon Canada site and I will give you another try!
