These blades work well, they are sharp but don't stay sharp long. These only last about 2-3 shaves but they leave my skin without any irritation. These blades do have some wax on the blade but not as bad as other blades, like the Shark or Gillette Silver Blue. I found that you have to be careful when inserting a blade with wax on them. You want the blade to be smooth against the upper edge. So you need to make sure the wax side is down when inserted into the razor head. Hard to explain but make sure the waxless side of the blade is the side against the razor head. The side with wax can be on the pushing side because it will not change the angle of the blade. If you have the wax side pushed into the razor head, it will not seat flat and will cause shaving problems that vary from blade to blade. A lot of razor blades have wax on them, just need to know how to insert the blade your razor handle.
