Office Chair Caster Wheels Set of 5 for Tile, Hardwood Floors and Carpets, Universal Fit for Most Chairs (Black)

I was looking for a replacement for my plastic caster wheels that were scratching my painted floor in my home office. These fit my old office desk chair, they were super easy to install (<5 minutes), look great, and most of all, they are quiet and smooth. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to spend on a new desk chair or looking for a different look.

These wheels are much better than the wheels my chair came with. Installation is quick and easy, no tools required. Wheels roll smooth and easy on both hard floors and carpet/rugs.

These things are awesome. I mean like they're the Cadillac of office chair wheels. Worth every penny. Quiet, smooth glide and they don't damage your floors cause they're rubber. Most excellent.

I installed these on a GTRacing chair and the improvement was immediate. Installation was simple—pop them in and done. The biggest surprise is how smoothly they roll on carpet, which isn’t typical for office casters. They’re quiet, stable, and move with almost no effort. No issues at all.

For me, I replaced the original casters because they would come apart frequently. I am using my chair on a carpet and while it is of a very low pile, I suppose it provided enough friction to pop the standard casters apart. That is where these replacement casters came in. The good - * They solve the falling apart caster problem because there is nothing to fall apart * They are easy to install * They seem quality and long-lasting (time will tell) * Quiet The jury is out - * Possibly because they are taller than the standard casters, I notice that there is a slight wobble at the joint between the chair base and the caster. It is not something you feel, simply something that you can see. I'm not entirely sure if this will cause undue stress on the chair over time, or if its nuttin' The not so good * As others have pointed out when changing direction whilst moving about, the casters' movement can be a bit clunky - more so than standard casters. For me though, replacing the stock casters with these was a no-brainer. Also, it's cheaper than purchasing a replacement quality mat under my desk (my old one too had disintegrated after years of use - possibly why the old casters were falling apart more frequently). If your existing casters are fine and you already have a mat, probably you don't need these. Update a few years in... No issue with the wobble. It has been reliable and didnt affect the chair at the connection point. I did downgrade the overall rating by one star because, it is a bit annoying when changing directions because the wheels tend to get "stuck" in a direction I am not intending to move. This is the nature of the beast for such a wheel as compared to wider wheels on casters, so I would not expect any other wheel of the same style to behave differently. Perhaps, its a bit more noticeable as I am using the chair on carpet and not wood or stone floors. Still. I would recommend. I'm happy with them.

These ICONN Office Chair Caster Wheels gave a second life to a high-end office chair. These roll incredibly well on hardwood floors, not leaving any marks on the floor. They are also super quiet. The pins on the casters fit perfectly into the chair and hold in place securely, preventing the casters from falling out of the chair, if the chair is lifted. These are high quality.

These are great! My husband bought me a typical office desk chair and the plastic wheels would not turn. Just dragged along the floor! I saw these that they were universal and thy were a good price too. They fit perfectly and roll really nicely! Very happy. They are quiet and, easy to install, just push right on. They did raise my chair height a bit due to the wheel height difference so be aware of that if your chair isn’t adjustable.
