This thing is great. Product quality is high; everything fits together with tight tolerances and quality material. It also fits in a refrigerator door as promised!The water tastes great! I used to live in the Colorado Rockies with snowmelt for tap water. Then I moved to a big city where the water is .... different. Without the Dragon Filter the water has a high iron content and chemicals that make the water "soft." The unfiltered tap water tastes goopy. The Dragon Filter takes care of all that stuff and the water comes out clean and delicious.I bought the Dragon because clean water is critical to a healthy body. The human body is at least 60% water. Your brain is at least 73% water. You need water without chemical and environmental additives to properly flush your system out.I have lost noticeable weight while using this. Probably because my body isn't busy trying to flush out the junk I get from the tap.I don't recommend anything else.

I have been using the DRAGONN Alkaline Water Pitcher since May 17th, 2017. The PH levels of the New York City tap water and spring bottled water before and after using this filter was about 7.0 or neutral. After filtering the spring water, the water tasted like water should with no after taste. Based on this test, I am not sure if there is a difference between spring and tap water seeing that they have identical PH levels. I was expecting the unfiltered spring water to taste like pure water and with a higher PH level than city tap water. I am not sure if they add a water softener or minerals to spring water to change its taste. The Dragonn filtered water pitcher does make a difference in how water tastes. I can really feel the health benefits from using this product, perhaps from removing the chlorine, fluoride and other elements. I use the filtered water for everything including making coffee, ice cubes, and cooking. To save time, I pour the filtered water into an empty bottle and refill the water pitcher.

UPDATED: I am changing the review to 4 stars because of the great customer service. I was contacted by the customer service almost immediately after my first review. They explained that the design of the system is such that even if water goes around the filter it won't leak into the pitcher. So that is good to know.Filter still clogs, used to do it every 4 days now it is closer to every 2 days. However, I am working with the customer service and trying out another filter, in case the one I have is defective. I will update this review further and if it is in fact just a faulty filter, I believe this pitcher and their customer service deserves 5 stars. Stay tuned :)FIRST REVIEW:Note that I did not do a pH test, but i feel the difference. First of all, tap water tastes great now (I am saving money on bottled water with pH level). Filtration is fast and I like the day counter as well.Here is why 3 stars only:1. The dripping on the sides is true. I was horrified at first (I can't believe I need to deal with returns). But then I pressed the cartridge really hard into the slot and it stopped. It stills freaks me out and I check sides of the cartridge regularly to make sure it still properly sealed. I did make sure that i bought "DRAGONN" cartridges, even though the ones that didn't have the branding were cheaper. So it is frustrating that i have to worry about proper fit at all times.2. And this one is a pain: filter stops working every 2-4 days. So prior to buying this particular brand I did some searching and noticed that Alkaline filters often have that problem. There's explanation about it in another brand something about ionizing process and shaking the filter breaks the crystals (can't find it now). But the point it.. every 2-4 days i have take the fitler out and give it a good shake (not even sure if it is recommended), then i have to let at least one pitcher to run through and discard because i have discovered that water tastes gross after the "shaking fix".Again, I am pleased the way water tastes and happy that we cut down on very expensive alkaline bottled water.However, my frustration is with instructions, the instructions for use are little booklet without describing potential issues and fixed i have described above. I still not sure if I am ruining the filter by shaking it.. but it doesn't work otherwise, I was hoping for guidance from the instruction and nothing.So inconvinience is one thing, being uncertain on how to proceed is really not good.

I purchased this filter when I saw an improvement in the clarity of my skin. This filter is great, the opening opens easily and is wide enough to fill quickly. The filter also filters the water pretty quickly. Very satisfied with this upgrade from my old Brita filter. The company sent me emails asking how I've liked the product thus far. I mentioned that the timer for the filter wasn't working and they responded suggesting I hold down the button. This (obvious) piece of information was helpful for someone as impatient as me who was just quickly pressing the button but seeing it shut off right away. Thanks for following up and answering my question! Looking forward to ordering some filters for the future. Oh and regarding the filter, there are some clear stickers on the filter which I didn't see at first. Nor did the instructions tell you to remove so be sure to remove those or your water won't be going anywhere!
