I’ve been using an All-Clad wok for years, but it never came with a lid, so steaming was always a hassle—until I got this YOSUKATA 13.6-inch wok lid. It’s been a total game-changer! The fit is spot-on for my wok, creating a tight seal that locks in steam beautifully. I’ve finally been able to properly steam veggies, dumplings, and fish without improvising with foil or mismatched lids. The glass top is a nice touch too—lets me keep an eye on things without lifting it and losing heat. It feels sturdy and well-made, and cleanup is easy since it’s dishwasher-safe. My only gripe is the handle—it gets way too hot during cooking. I wish it had a heat-resistant grip or silicone coating because I’ve had to grab it with an oven mitt every time, which is a bit annoying. That’s the only reason I’m docking a star. Otherwise, this lid has solved a big problem for me and made my wok so much more versatile. If you’ve got a lidless wok like mine, this is a solid fix—just be ready to handle it with care!

This 12.8" lid is ideal for Yosukata's 13.5" wok. The company makes several sizes, so you would choose a different size if you have a 14" wok. The sizes and which wok size each lid fits are included in the description area so pay attention to that info. You always buy a dome lid that is slightly smaller than your wok diameter. This is a very nicely made lid. The glass top portion is ok, although it's moderately useful because it's a bit hard to see into the wok through it anyway. I like the raised handle (easier to grasp than the wood knobs most lids have). It's pricey, and if you buy a Yosukata wok there were better deals in a package where you get a wok, lid and perhaps a couple of utensils for less than you'd pay individually.

Insolito che un coperchio giunga smontato, comunque l'assemblaggio del manico richiede solo un paio di minuti, si tratta di due guarnizioni siliconiche e due viti. Una volta montato il manico, e strette le viti, il coperchio risulta robusto e ben costruito, estremamente funzionale, già provato, mi ha permesso di friggere alla perfezione limitando al minimo gli schizzi di olio sulla stufa, inoltre l'ampia cupola ed le feritoie laterali, permettono di minimizzare il vapore, così i fritti restano croccanti, sono veramente soddisfatto di questo acquisto.

easy enough instructions to follow the diagram is a bit confusing but the lid is great. I can also use it to steam burgers with on the grill.
