These little plastic adhesive bumpers are fantastic. Bottom adhesive is sticky enough and the tops that make contact with the table are tacky enough, that no matter what you do, your table top will not slide. I've had the same ones since 2021 and have never had to replace them with new ones. My desk has a metal frame but a glass tabletop which also goes to show that these bumpers work great on different smooth surfaces. Even when I vigorously clean my glass tabletop, the bumpers prevent the desk from shifting in any direction.

These were perfect to go between our wood table and the glass table top cover. Just know that they will crinkle and roll over on themselves if you try to slide the glass over them We did this while trying to reposition the glass. So we just replaced the damaged ones, but that was tricky too. Be sure to have them positioned right where you want them and set the glass down right where it should be forever, because you cannot slide across these. With that said, they are clear enough to not be distracting from the beauty of the table.

I had a glass desk that had these tabs, but when I moved, most of the original tabs fell off in transport. I used these as replacements, and they work great.

Purchased for my glass top coffee table. Works just fine. Reminds me of glue dots only for furniture.
