- I formulate Vitae Soaps to address specific skin needs using the same ingredients you will find in high end skin care creams. Raw, pure, unrefined, unprocessed organic ingredients free on any lab-made cosmetic grade dyes, such mica and dioxide or synthetic fragrances. Each and every one soap I formulate is unique in all aspects since the ingredients I use until the intended use for that soap. The colors of Vitae Soaps come either from the natural colors of unrefined oils/butters, or clays, and botanical powders, which are added to the soap not only for colors or textures, but as an active ingredient to nourish and help the skin to heal itself.
- I believe that a high quality soap goes far beyond cleansing. It must have nourishing, healing, therapeutic value. Large "handmade soap" private label manufacturers offer an endless number colors, shapes, and highly synthetic fragranced soaps made from a basic palm-coconut- sunflower-canola-soy formula intended to leave your skin "squeaky clean". It means, washing out the skin's protective oils, leaving the skin subject of all sort of infections which cause iching rashes, sores. Choosing a soap should be given the same importance as we give to our facial creams.
- In spite of that Vitae Soaps are intended to remove impurities from the skin, which can cause unpleasant odors, wash away microorganism that can cause skin infections Vitae Soaps must also leave the skin supple nourished, hydrated and healthy. This was the fundamental on which handmade soap making was based. This is the fundamental I intend to pass along with each and every soap I create. This bar is made with great oils from Africa (Baobab oil and Mafura butter) and Asia (Shorea/Sal Buuter) with a Brazilian Twist(Buriti oil).

The Baobab fruit is ultra rich in vitamin C (six times as much as an orange), calcium (50 percent more than spinach) and is an extraordinary source of antioxidants (four times that of a kiwi or apple pulp). This oil, rich in Omegas 3-6-9, phytosterols, proteins, potassium, magnesium calcium, iron, zinc and amino acids, is used as an effective topic remedy for its nourishing and antioxidant properties which alleviate chronic dry skin and bruising by improving skin elasticity and boosting epidermal softening.) The presence of limonoids, in particular Trichilin A, is responsible for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory activities helps to aleviate dry and itchy. Mafura is a wonderful moisturizer, softens and improves the elasticity of the skin and nourishes dry cracked skin.
