Good value. Checks all the boxes. Well engineered-- handle stays where it is supposed to be when reeling out tape, crank/handl does not break, tape rarely gets twisted up going thru feed guide unlike many others at higher price point. Large flip-out at the end of tape for attaching to engineers stakes is not best for me as I don't attach to stakes... Still checks all the boxes.

This is a solid measuring tape that works very well. I use it out in pastures, and it’s been both accurate and reliable for my needs. I needed a long tape measure to measure distances on my 1.5 acre property for an application that I was putting in with my county. having 200 feed of tape really helps and it sure beats measuring things at 25 or 50 foot increments! This tape reel comes with a stake that you can use to anchor the end while you are unreeling the tape. As you near the end, there is some red printing that tells you to stop unwinding it, although it goes a little bit past 200 feet. The quality is solid and I'm very happy with that, considering that this item is not very expensive. The tape is sturdy and the markings on it are clear. The reel itself is plastic but quite solid. Winding up the tape when I was finished proved to be very fast and the tape didn't tangle at all. There are some 200-feet tape measures on here that cost more since you're paying for a better-known brand name, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one and save some cash.

The tape measure is easy to use once I was able to get the plastic stake to stay in place. When measuring over 100 feet, I noticed that the tape had twisted over about half way, but after getting it untwisted (rolled back over so uniform measurement side was up), I found no difference in tape readings. That was a relief.

I've been using this for about 2 months now. I bought it for doing some landscaping work in my yard, but have found it surprisingly useful. I'm finding myself using it more and more instead of using regular tape measures. Pros: - Quality constuction - Price - Easy to clean tape if used outdoors in dirt and mud - Metal hook on end of tape grabs onto many things easily Cons: - Plastic Orange Stake is ridiculously hard to detach. It mounts to a hole on opposide side of the handle. I've removed it twice and had to pull so hard to snap it loose I thought for sure it would break something. I don't know what they were thinking when they approved that design. I don't install the stake on the side anymore for fear I will damage it. I just carry it separatly. Kind of a hassle, but I don't really need the stake most of the time anyway. I can usually get away with end of the tape grabs onto most things. - Tape has measurements of Feet with 10ths of feet on yellow side. White side has Feet with inches. I don't use 10ths of feet, so it is a con for me, but a pro for others who use it. I often find myself measure something incorrectly and have to flip it over. Even with the cons, I haven't seen anything else close to the quality of the Komelon 6611 within the same price range, so I still give it 5 stars. Very happy with it.

I work in construction and rely on longer measuring tapes every day. This Komelon tape has outlasted every other brand I’ve tried, including Kobalt and DeWalt. With those brands, parts tend to break or fall off after regular use, but this one has held up far better over time. The tape itself stays rigid longer and is less likely to fold in on itself compared to the others. It can still happen, but it takes a lot more force and happens far less often. I use this every week on job sites, and it has lasted months longer than any of my previous tapes. I’m impressed with the durability and consistency, and I’ll continue buying these for myself and my crew as long as they’re available on Amazon.

I bought this to measure out the landscape on our 1 acre lot. I probably took 100 readings in one day ranging from 40' all the way up to 197'(reeling back in all the way for almost half of those readings). The tape never jammed and worked smoothly every time. Even getting the tape a bit wet and grassy from the morning dew and fresh cut lawn didn't affect the performance. Mine came with an orange plastic stake for use in attaching the end to the ground where there is nothing to attach to -- I used this on almost all my measurements. It was very helpful and a great item that they added to this product. It's not shown in the above picture, but the description lists a "Marking stake included" which must be to what they are referring. The metal end hook (used to measure from a solid edge) works very well. I used this when measuring the sides of my house and it gripped the brick edges very well allowing me to make easy measurements by myself. I would definitely recommend this product.
