Cups and Balls Magic Trick - Polished Aluminum with Complete Course

First, I'd like to commend Rock Ridge Sales, Inc for their amazing shipping times. I'm a student and the post office doesn't receive packages in weekends, also my Amazon Prime membership ran out, so I was expecting the cups and balls to come four days later than they actually did. In fact, they came at the same rate they would have if I had ordered them with Amazon Prime. I'm a very happy customer in this regard. I'd recommend this company for their shipping at the very least.The cups are aluminum, lightweight, and more or less identical. There are some light scratches and marks, but nothing that would be affect one's routine. For all intents and purposes the cups are everything I expected them to be. I'd buy this set for the cups alone, especially at the price they're at, it's a very good deal.The balls are small and rubber. My main complaint about the balls is that they make a noticeable noise while in the cups that may be significant during a performance. However, because of the price and the quality of the cups, the balls wouldn't play as much of role in my decision as to whether or not I'd purchase this product again. If it really bothers me I can easily switch in wads of paper instead of the balls.The instructions included with the set aren't very helpful, but I expect that if I spent more time really trying to figure them out I could. This also wouldn't play much of a role in my decision to purchase the set again because the internet exists and I found a tutorial for a very basic routine in under a minute with Google.Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase. As a beginner to the cups and balls I'm very happy to have a set that I can learn on without spending a ton of money. With the quality of the cups, the excellent shipping, and the overall positive experience with the company I'd definitely purchase from them again and recommend them to others.

This is a nice set of Cups. But not balls. The balls are red rubber made to look like crochet balls. By itself I suppose they have their uses, but unfortunately if you do the routine on a hard surface they make an audible sound hitting the surface when you do the inertia move. That's not good. If you get this set find a good set of crochet balls, 3/4 or 1" to go with it. The cups are nice. A medium weight aluminum, that fits an adult hand well. This is what I would call, 'full size', or 'normal' size. Not a large, nor a small size. A good size for practice. The DVD is excellent. I've got two of his DVD's and the instruction is good. So all in all, a good set, but pick yourself up another set of crochet balls. Happy Magic!

This item was received faster than expected. DVD was very informative and the plastic cups appeared good quality for the price. However I was not impressed with the hard rubber balls included with this magic set. I agree with other Comments that have been made in that these harder rubber balls that come with this Cups & Balls trick make more noise when performing the trick and tend to possibly give away the secret to the trick. In fact, I purchased another set of 4 crocheted red balls that don't make noise to use rather than the harder ones.(See Link Below) Would have rated item 5 Stars if it wasn't for the hard rubber balls included.(See Link Below) Cup Balls, 3/4 Inch, Red, Set of 4

This is a great introductory cups and balls set for the price you pay. The four balls are mostly worthless because they are made of rubber, bouncy, and make noise inside of the cups when this trick is performed. Those factors make performing this trick with these balls extra difficult because the balls are harder to control and can even give the trick away due to the sound they make inside the cups.All that being said, the dvd and plastic cups are worth it for the price. Especially as a starter set. I am satisfied with the product and the balls can easily be replace with cotton balls, or puff balls from a craft store which are easier to work with when learning this trick anyway.

I found this DVD very easy to follow and learn the various ways of doing each part dealing with the cups and balls. Eddy Ray, the instructor, makes it easy to follow and learn the various techniques (over 75 techniques) you want to use to create your own routine. They include some magic wand techniques as well to help create mis-direction. They include a basic routine at the beginning of the DVD and a Routine using a sponge balls and a bowl at the end. They then go step by step to explain both routines. I would highly recommend this complete course with cups and balls to anyone looking to learn or improve their magic.

It's cheap, just like what you receive. The cups are plastic but painted an aluminum color, which I'd be fine with, but the paint fades very quickly. The balls make noise inside of the cup which is very annoying, so I would recommend buying separate balls. The DVD is okay, but, that's it. Just okay.

This is an absoluely amazing product! The cups are great quality and have nice wieght to them. The DVD is great for learning all of he essential slieghts and moves to create your own routines. Also the cups look great and have a nice polish to them. Defenit 10/10 would highly reccomend! Thanks to Rob Stiff and Magic Makers for such an amazing product!

The cups are cheap plastic that tries to look like metal but are chipped enough that you can tell from afar that they are plastic. Because of the plastic, they don't make the nice "clank" that you might expect when trying to perform a trick. The red pom pom balls are also not good quality and much smaller in reality than they appear to be in the product photo. Also, the DVD is not helpful because many of the tricks require additional items in order to perform them. DVD is also boring. Bought these as a gift for my tweenager, but she has since just used craft pom-poms, red plastic drink cups and YouTube videos to learn to perform cup tricks to perfection. Save your $$$ and use items you already have in your kitchen...or invest in some real magician "cups and balls."
