SoHo Toddler Cotton Nap Mat, Cars Yellow

Update: 2 years later my son is still using it. We ended up replacing the pillow with the wildkin brand pillow. Since the napmat has always been very hard to keep rolled up, I decided to completely cut off the Velcro straps and make a loop and button type closure instead of buying a brand new nap mat or replacing with longer Velcro straps this year.Original review: My son used this napmat at his preschool last school year! He loved it and still does. We’ll be getting at least another years use out of it. There are only two complaints I have. #1: it’s pretty hard to roll it up and fasten with the short Velcro straps. You have to squeeze the pillow down really right and scrunch it whole you roll it like a sleeping bag. I’ll probably have to sew on extra Velcro since the strips aren’t very long. #2: you cannot wash the pillow outside of the mat. I went all year and always took the pillow out and washed the mat without the pillow. But at the very end of the year I figured I’d give the pillow a nice washin too. That was a bad decision because the pillow literally exploded inside my washing machine. So now I have to buy a new pillow for the mat. I’m not sure if the pillow was rated washing machine safe or not but I’m here to tell you that it is not. At least not outside the mat.All in all, the mat itself is great quality and my son loves it when we brought it home from school he slept on it in his bed for 3 weeks before he would let me put it up for the summer!

I purchased this mat instead of a Wildkins mat because the overall reviews were better. Although the thickness of the mat is supposed to be 2", it's nowhere close to being that thick. However, if it were any thicker, it would be difficult to roll the mat up for storage. This mat will be used on a cot for the time being so I'm not too concerned with the lack of cushion. The attached blanket is nice and thick and can actually add the extra cushion if your child doesn't like thick blankets or is a hot sleeper. The removable pillow is a great feature. The material appears to be very durable and easy to clean. I washed it straight out of the packaging with no issues. There's a little section on the outer layer that can be embroidered with the child's name as well. Overall, I think it's a great product at a reasonable price. I can see this nap mat lasting several years.

Love! My son is currently using this for PreK-2 and loves it. I love how the blanket is a perfect size to cover him up even when we moves around. In the past with my other kiddos the blanket falls short and they end of having arms or legs hang out not providing full coverage. The cushions are plush enough, and since these are cotton material I added a nap mat under it, so he has an extra cushion and to keep from getting dirty. Parents you will love that this is machine washable and dryer safe. Rolls right up and ready for your little ones next adventure. Advice, when it first arrives, open up and let it sit out for a few hours.

This is the second nap mat I’ve bought. The first one was wildkin and I replaced it after 2 years. I let my almost 3 year old pick it out, and I was nervous because theee were so few reviews, but I’m pleased. This one is very nice! The blanket is cozy and feels like a nice quilt. The mat part has a little more padding than the Wildkin and it seems more comfy. It might be narrower than the other, but I’m not sure. It seems to hold up to washing well and isn’t pilling. My son likes it, so we are all happy.

This is very cute. My child loves it! He uses it every day at school for naptime. My only complaint is that the Velcro straps are shorter on this brand that on others we have purchased. When rolling it up, sometimes the Velcro doesn’t stay attached on both sides. This is frustrating. It would be my only reason for not purchasing this brand again. Manufacturer, take note, please make longer Velcro straps in the future.

I thought this would be an actual nap mat as advertised, but it’s merely a blanket with a built in pillow. My sons preschool told me that he didn’t have a nap mat, and I was confused because I bought this, and brought it right to them without even unrolling it, thinking it was a nap “mat”. Wrong. It’s cute, but it has zero cushion like an actual mat is supposed to provide. Buy a real mat, and just put this on top of it to use as a blanket and pillow.

My 4 year old uses this daily for naps at school. It saves me from having to bring in a blanket, pillow and sheet. It rolls up easily, he does it himself at school. I also take it home every other week to clean. The way it holds up after the washing i would assume this will only last about a year. Which is still cheaper than having to buy new sheets and pillows for school.

This design is beautiful!!! The moment my 4 year old seen it, he has begged to sleep with it. He literally laid this on our bed and sleep on top of it in the bed 😂 I have not cleaned it yet, as we just got it, but I think it will not be easy to wash. The directions say to wash in a commercial front loading washing machine. In my opinion, it would be better if the blanket was not attached, and would make it easier to wash. Overall, we love it and glad I purchased. Def worth it!
