Chillipepperstone 12 Natural Mineral Untumbled Rock Science Stone Collection - Non-Metalic Sample Set

This has such a nice, minimalist design with each specimen labeled underneath. I left the plastic sheath on and have the case leaning on a shelf for display—really adds an earthy pop of color. The rocks themselves are great hand samples, especially if kids want to interact with them (just be careful of the mica—it’s delicate!). The whole thing is about the length of my palm, so it’s easy to move.

We got this as a small gift for a child - it comes with a flimsy plastic cover and the box it comes in is not intended to be used as a storage for the rock collection. The rocks themselves look great - just the container the rocks come in is just cheap/flimsy.

Glad that I purchased this small set. The samples are all nice in my opinion and about 1 inch in diameter and loose. I hope to see other collections from this seller

I am not impressed with this product. I bought it, as a teacher, because I needed a specific type of rock to show my students, gypsum. The set that was delivered did not have that rock. I am unhappy and will be asking for my money back.

Size could be bigger. About the size of a quarter. Nice collection.

Worked okay for Cub Scout project. Wasn't as great as I had hoped, but it was a lot cheaper than most we found, so it was okay.

A gift for my 6 year old grandson. Did not disappoint. He is fascinated.

I ordered some of these kits for my science class. They are great & get the point across.
